Remake is a little strong.

It's a similar story, but the careful timing of strikes and back/forward movement has been replaced with a rhythm game.

Having said that out loud, I didn't think it was as bad as that description makes it sound.

With the web store up you don't even need to do that. Just add to cart and check out and it'll be in your download list. Makes things so much better.

This might be a good update for you my friend, but this is not a good update for many others. Some of us are not whiners either, but SCEA can do a bit better with the selctions, especially in light of what Europe gets.

I just barely made it through the tutorial before quitting and deleting. It might be more fun online but everything was just so meh. Boing powers, ugly graphics, clunky gameplay and UI. Totally regret wasting bandwidth on it.

Story is not average, is shit. I also enjoyed the game though. Definitely worth $5.

I've never played a MOBA in my life, guess I'll give Guardians of Middle-Earth a try sometime.

Not interested in Karateka and Big Sky Infinity is crap.

This, pretty much. Knytt has really great sound design, good puzzles, far too much backtracking though. Was definitely worth the free download in the EU!

If you use such metrics, then we got the better game. (My perception of FFA might be a little skewed, though, as my co-worker very much disliked FFA, while GoME was very much liked by another co-worker.)
 
Guardians of middle earth is a good game. I bought it at launch, but the community is a wasteland now. Hoping ps+ will revive its fortunes.

I bought Hot Shots Golf (PS3) when it was on sale a few weeks ago, and I want to share it with a friend's system. If I let them dl it from my account, will they be able to play it on their account?

yes, as long as your account isn't active on any other systems. You have two slots so one for your PS3 and one for his.

I think anything is better than Foosball. For some reason, that game won't even appear as purchased in the PSN store. I was hoping for another good sale to be honest. Wouldn't be mad if Flower went on sale, already got journey and Unfinished Swan.

I paid like $3 for War in the North 9 months ago. Guardians costs 5 times that and just came out. I've been kinda hoping we'd be getting it.

Anyway, I kinda want to take a chance on Knytt, but I think I'm probably gonna over-spend on the Final Fantasy sale instead. Oh, and I have to buy Katamari for my Vita. Why did all the sales happen at the same time?!?!

Heh, I just realized I'm gonna spend more on PSN this week than I spent during the Steam Holiday Sale...
 
Does anyone know when EU PSN Plus content gets updated when they change the free games?
Signed up to Plus this week for the first time and interested in getting Sleeping Dogs tomorrow when its added but can not see anywhere stating when games are updated.

Took the plunge last night, and I see where it'll return my investment in like...a month or two. And yes, I'm in the US and know that everywhere else is the land of milk and honey.

EU gets SLEEPING DOGS?! O_O I would LOVE to get that game on Plus. Damn.

I guess some people out there will like that Middle Earth MOBA thing, but it's not something I'm even slightly interested in. I like Tolkien, I just have zero interest in that sort of game.

Thanks for the reply, sorry i should of made my query clearer. I was wonder what time of the day Sony update the games you can download on PS Plus, wasn't sure if they always updates the list at a certain time ie 9am GMT etc

Today when I downloaded the new Middle-Earth game, it didn't take me to the checkout. It just had a "Download" button.

Is this new? That is, do we not have to go through checkout anymore?

I don't like because I won't have a record of each item downloaded in my email. :(

I believe you only go to the checkout when there is a cost involved.
