Rayman Legends coming to Xbox 360/PS3, all versions releasing in September

haha, oh man, i can't believe what ubisoft just did. the tradition of nintendo getting fucked in the ass by 3rd parties continues it seems.

I hope it's not delayed, I was looking forward to playing it towards the end of the month. In any case, the more people that can play it the better, but I'm bitter about the release date.

Guess I might as well cancel my pre-order now that I have to wait 6+ months!

I'll still likely get it on the Wii U. But makes no sense to have a pre-order for a game I was expecting to have 2 months ago...
 
This is GAF so I can't exhibit disappointment about this news. I guess I'll have to make do with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

I knew it was going to be a game I'd buy in March but it depends on how much other stuff is coming out in September. If it has significant competition, might just wait for the inevitable bomba price.

September will be loaded with stuff and I think most people will wait for next-gen stuff; I don't think this was a wise decision
 
September? Yeah fuck that. Will get the game when it's bargain bin (which would be end of september)

Fuck you Ubisoft. Happy for 360 and PS3 owners though. Now they don't have to buy a WiiU to get this game, too bad Ubisoft is such a fucking POS company to delay this until then.

another + to add to the PC positives. Stereo 3D support. Not a given, but Origins looked and ran perfectly in 3D on PC (surprisingly).
 
So not only delaying it (one of the few games I was waiting to see if a Wii U is in my future) but going up against GTA V? Damn. Plus all the new console stuff going to be announced and more likely available around that time? Double damn.

As I mentioned before, if they release it now, they'll have to reveal the sales on how much WiiU version sold. When PS3/360 version releases, they'll have to reveal those numbers individually.

I believe Ubisoft is doing themselves a favor by releasing it all together so they can show one big number.

No investor wants to see "WiiU: 300,000; PS3: 300,000; 360: 400,000". Ubisoft rather say "Rayman: 1 million sales" instead.
 
Well fuck, my fiancee was really wanting this for her birthday.

Thanks for waiting until this close to the wire to delay it, Ubisoft.
 
welp. There goes any interest I had in the game. No way I'm going to be still interested in playing it in September. It'll be going right up against GTA, Ubisoft. Dumb move.

I knew it was bound to happen, but confirmation is nice to hear. I fuckin' loved Rayman Origins but I don't expect to be a Wii U owner anytime soon. The only problem now is that I don't own any console at the moments...so here's hoping for a more timely PC release.
 
Fuck off really? REALLY? THE ONLY FUCKING REASON to play my dust bin of a Wii U until Nintendo decides it should release a decent game.

This will teach me to stop being launch systems. I don't get why I do it.. I really don't.

Jesus, have we ever seen such a rapid abandoning of a ship before? In the past two days we've seen two exclusives announced for the system's launch go multiplatform. Third parties have zero faith in the platform, should DQX bomb I suspect that there won't be any more major announcements for the system anytime soon without direct involvement from Nintendo in development/marketing.
 
Not surprised that it's coming to all platforms (that was the original leak we got), but pretty dirty of Ubisoft to drop this a few weeks before their scheduled release date and then push back the Wii U version on top of that.
 
Maybe they just need time to replace the Murphy parts that can't be done on the PS3/360.

Edit: Nope; all versions delayed. That sucks.

Didn't even think of that! Oh man, game suicide. The perfect time would have been somewhere in May. Nothing to battle against

Didn't the first flop on release?
 
The WiiU version has tobe done right? What a dick move delaying it until September. I was really looking forward to play it this month. Now I also have nothing to play on my WiiU until the end or March (Lego and MH3U), and that since launch!
 
Hahahahahaha...I thought it wasn't possible on other platforms...NeoGAF was telling me it's absolutely exclusive? Some people on here must feel embarrassed now.
