Ideally yes. But like with most ideologies the people that are the most vocal are way too pushy and annoying about it to the point of it being counterproductive.
I think the Men's Rights Advocates that are lampooned in these tweets are probably the equivalent example of polar opposite feminists that say stupid things. It would be like someone dismissing the complaints of feminists because of some stupid shit some crazy person says on one of those sites about hating men.
It really should all be about equality and not some competition about who's oppressed more or whose oppression is underrated or underrepresented.

While I don't agree with that dude, I do think that the baby boomer generation in general is holding everything back. These are the people who have raised us up and it's all I can think of why things still are held back. Sorry if that wasn't phrased well.

That always tends to happen when someone wants to discredit another group. They take the worst ideas and worst members that can be associated with a movement and try to make that the entire purpose of the group.

Should you automatically give your seat to that woman purely on the basis that she's female?
I'm not asking if it's nice to do so. It's always nice to give to others, male and female regardless.

Are you aware that women are currently favored in family court BECAUSE of patriarchy? The idea that the man is the provider and the woman is the caretaker has an effect on how judgements are rendered.
