Fighting Games Weekly | February 11-17 | C&D is Magic Edition

I rather go on GameFAQs than SRK now. Site is straight up ass now.

I get what I need now from Facebook/Twitter/GAF/EventHubs so there's no need to go to SRK for anything.

You can start with AAK's guide. Don't forget that the game has online practice mode. If you are on PSN, then I'd be happy to teach what I can.

I actually had this for awhile and then I went back to normal neogaf. Anything that's linked isn't really very visible with that theme.
 
The beige GAF is actually best GAF, it just hasn't been updated in forever, and thus a lot of stuff sticks out like an eyesore like the new community tabs, etc.
 
I knew i was spamming dragon punches, but hell if I was going to lose a dollar and wait ten minutes to play again.

Just logged into Tekken Zaibatsu for old time sake (It says first log on in 673 days LOL). And wow that forum hasn't changed one bit, same old shit.

Just a lot of new themes, but that's about it. Why couldn't SRK do the same? This is getting more depressing thinking about it.

Haha yea. I like GAF a lot except for how quick you can get ban on here. If this was 2005-2009 I think I would have been ban 20+ times by now for racism, sexism, flaming, using certain derogatory terms.

Thankfully no one really pays any attention to FGC-GAF, NFL-GAF, and NBA-GAF. Only place I really stay in.

People getting banned quick is exactly the reason I stay on GAF and don't need any other forum.

Though yeah, you do have to be PC as possible here, I know that's why a lot of SF-GAF ain't here anymore. Except you can say cunt, for some odd reason.

Modern Namco (SCV/TTT2)
BB/Ah3
VF - lots of VFDCers slag on the netcode, but if I can get a playable 1000 matches with someone from Israel, it can't be that bad.

bad netcodes

Capcom games (not that bad)
modern KOF
old Arcsys games (GG/Battle Fantasia)
old namco games

If forced to choose a game to learn other than VF, I'd pick Tekken.

Although, one of my "faithful Sarus trolls" tipped me on Twitter that someone guy on here snitched on me for the second ban and tried to snitch on me again.

Amen on the Skullgirls net code. I literally almost cried after playing my first 5 matches of online Skullgirls, and scream to the heavens

I wonder... will online play ever be viable for fighting games? Can there ever be zero lag?

AE seems to play fine online in places with super omega god tier internet like Korea and Japan...

Canada is still in the fucking stone age when it comes to Internet speeds

I think SSF4 should be the line between good and bad netcode. And it has a big enough community(at least here from AMERICA/Texas) that you could get in plenty of decent matches on 360

SRK appears to be trying to solve social problems with software solutions. aka OOOOH SHINY I BET IT RUNS ON RAILS AND NODE.JS
 
default neogaf is the best. you guys have terrible tastes. the other version is good for testing out transparent avatars though.
