PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

because people had a CC on file and the automatic withdraw when not enough funds on.. Which was just recently changed. As it always had me redo the CC security on my card, but this time it didn't.

No I understand that but Im guessing people thought it was free and went ahead to download, it didnt state a price.

When downloading, it stated free on the main page, and then you go to the game's page and it just said download, no free, no plus, nothing next to it, just the word download.

Sony is a pain to get a refund back from too, as their customer service team looks over each refund on a case by case basis, which takes 10-15 business days, and then another 30 days to get a refund. (that's max, it's usually quicker.)

Edit: Sony is aware of the issue and looking into it.

Not sure, as I haven't used the web store for this yet myself (been meaning to try it out), but I think so? But by "buy" you have to mean "add to cart." You don't have to download it, no, but it does have to be in your download list.

Two easy ways to check if this worked in your case: check your download list and see if the items show up, or go to the store and check the items in question. If they're activated on your account, they will be clearly marked as just "download" or "purchased," rather than with a price.

Suppose I'll update when I figure it out. I haven't bothered plugging in my PS3 since I moved last month nor do I know for sure where my Vita charge cable is to check it there. I'll likely get around to checking this in the next week just to be sure I actually get my Plus copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

I'm pretty sure it's safe. Using the web store I added them to my cart and checked out, along with one paid item, and from there it goes to a transaction complete screen with some basic instructions of how to get the items on my PS3 and Vita. My only concern is that there'd be some weirdness between getting an item for free on the web store and actually having it completely in my download history on the systems. I'm sure it's all well but no harm checking if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Anyone know for sure if you buy a one year Plus subscription code say off Amazon and apply it you get the free 3 months or that deal just through the PSN store?

I have amazon credit I want to use up

Use the Amazon credit to buy a PSN card, then use the card on the store.

Yes, Morgan confirmed that all retail codes will be upgraded during checkout as long as you redeem them before 3/4. Heck the Amazon page is highlighting the offer right now.

It's supposed to ask for your Security Code on the back of your Credit Card before purchasing...
I don't recall ever being asked for the ccv code during checkout when using a saved card, but then again I have it set to ask for my password before it lets me transfer funds.

So what do I do? I've been trying to download RCR since it went live and continually get this message. Tried downloading on the web store, the PS3, and the Vita. Nothing else gave me any issues.

For how long is the 90 days sale going to be on for in EU?

I just looked it up online last night online because I couldn't get a firm answer in this thread. You have until the 20th (next week's store publish). I would buy a year because you save $20 over a normal year and they are sure to have another deal in a year's time so why waste any more money.

If you've already bought the PS3 version it does that.

Thanks for the answer, may get a year to save money!

Well that's a very clear error message for that circumstance.

Yeah, it's weird. I had that error message with another game and went to check the download list on my PS3, the game that had the error message for purchase was already on my download list, ready to download if I ever wanted to (it was foosball on ps3 in case my choice of words wasn't too clear).

Mine arrived in the mail today. Thanks for the heads up 15 months for $40 is excellent. I'm now renewed into 2015!

I hope mine arrives soon. Did you get a tracking number and stuff? Because I didn't get an email from them yet. Hopefully it arrives by tomorrow.

So I get Wipeout 2048 free with Plus and then the Wipeout HD course DLC free because I bought Wipeout HD years ago. It almost feels too generous.

I noticed this last night, but for a weird reason. I'd got the two free games back in the day after the PSN hacking thing, but only redeemed one. I went into my account on the XMB and saw the Services option, in there was the option to redeem my second game, which I'd not realised I could still do. Anyway, I grabbed Wipeout and it also downloaded the add on packs for 2048. I don't have a Vita though so I can't use them. It also let me download Super Stardust HD (the other game I'd redeemed) through there rather than the download list (which it was missing from). Anyway, just thought i'd mention it on here as the other day I was trying to figure out where those games had gone to re-download them.

Have you checked in Account Settings and under Services and Subscriptions, isn't there something in there that related to the hacking which will allow you to get to the chosen games?

This isn't Plus related but I'm curious...wasn't infamous given away for free back in 2011 after the whole PSN hacking fiasco? Pretty sure I got that as a free game, but it doesn't show up in my dl/service list...unless I got it but didn't dl it and thus it doesn't show up on my dl list anymore...

Yeah Tizoc mentioned it previously and I responded saying it was in there. There are quite a few things hidden away in there if you have bought certain things.

I have three 30 days PS+ codes from this http://30joursplaystationplus.com/ site.
Promotion is over so I don't know if codes are still good.
They work only on European accounts (not all countries though) and only on accounts where there was never PS+ activated before.Credit card info is not required.
Quote to see the codes.

No, there was no tracking or shipment notification. I emailed him to ask the status, and he sent me this:

Thank you for your Playstation Plus order. All orders placed Friday-Sunday were mailed out Monday morning. All orders placed Monday-Tuesday were mailed out Wednesday morning. Most orders take 3-5 business days to arrive once shipped. You should now have a good idea of when to expect your delivery

Unfortunately, I threw away the envelope, so I can't tell you where it mailed from. But I ordered late Sunday night and received it yesterday in Washington, D.C.

Pretty nice advert in UK gaming magazine for PS+. I wonder what the effect would be if Sony planted this kind of advert in a non-gaming magazine. Like Time or a magazine that targets women.

Quoted for size.

/!\ SCEE asks what games you want next:

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/02/14/playstation-plus-what-sort-of-content-do-you-want/

We’re always listening to our subscribers and want to find out more about the sort of content that drives you to be a Plus member. Essentially, we want to know what you would like to see in the service over the coming months.

So with that in mind, I’ve put together a little poll. We’d really appreciate it if you took a couple of minutes to tell us the types of games that you want to see in the IGC in the future.

Feel free to vote for more than one genre.

The poll will come down on 21st February, at which point I’ll collate and share the results.

○ Action Adventure (Uncharted, Assassin's Creed)
○ Fighting (Street Fighter IV, Mortal Kombat)
○ Multiplayer (Guardians of Middle Earth, Gotham City Imposters)
○ Platformer (Sonic Generations, LittleBigPlanet)
○ Puzzle (Tetris, Angry Birds)
○ Racing (Ridge Racer, LBP Karting
○ RPG (Mass Effect, Ni No Kuni)
○ Shooters (Borderlands 2, Call of Duty)
○ Sports (SSX, FIFA)
○ Other - please state

*The titles listed are examples only and not guaranteed to be in the Plus service at any time.

what,...? we had Chronovolt for free and Guardians of middle earth..

US side only sees the good on your side and the bad on theirs. It's the only way to maximize misery.

BTW, Closure's a solid game. Puzzle fans really should try it. I do wish Knytt had been a freebie for US as in EU, though. Seems unlikely now that it's on sale.
