Durango if its released on it this year. If not, I'll definitely settle with the 360. Especially since if anything, Microsoft will pay to have DLC on its consoles first, just like with COD.

Fingers crossed, but I can't see a PC version happening. I can't really see a next gen version happening either to be honest. It would just make the 360/PS3 versions look like shit. And you don't really want to be doing that when the vast majority of your sales will be on those systems.

There's only one point in the key feature about it though. Can't derive from that.

Eh I don't know about that. I think it's possible, but the current gen ones will be scaled down in some form.

I believe the leaked contract mentions somewhere that it's going to be massively multiplayer focused. Then one of the stories linked in the OP describes it as a game that redifines the idea of solo campaigns and competive/co-operative multiplayer while combining your social networks.

I don't think it will be an MMO in the traditional sense like WoW or something, but more of a persistent online FPS. Maybe there will be a seperate campaing though, so I don't know. When you start talking about create-a-character and earning stuff to unlock vehicles and loot and really starts sounding like it's not your traditional Slayer-BTB Halo experience and more like a Planetside2.

Interesting replies. Guess I should answer my own quetsion too. lol. I myself will for sure get it on PS3. Might get it on 360 also just for shits and giggles. Then of course I'll get it on one of the next gen consoles if it's on those. Then last but not least if there is a PC I'll get it too.

To be clear, I just got rid of the my 360, and I only care about the co-op, so I wouldn't want to activate Live just for that even if I hadn't. As for PS4, that's really just me guessing I'll lean towards PS4 over XB3, MS could certainly surprise me, make me go there first, and PS4 later, but I think that's unlikely.

I don't even have an Xbox 360 or PS3 to play it on anymore and I have no intentions of buying one just for Destiny, especially if the next-gen consoles are right around the corner.

If it's coming out this fall -- I'll pick it up for PC, Next Xbox, or PS4 if it's available on any of those systems. If not, ehhh.... probably won't pick it up at all. The Last of Us (if on PSN) will likely be the last game I spend $ on for the 360/PS3 generation. I'm beyond ready to move on (and mostly already have thanks to PC).

However, they probably have been working on this for a while and their engine is made to be multiplatform/next-gen ready. Equal? probably not. But I think we'll get something really good performance wise.

Ah but as said this is Bungie. They focus on quality. They've also been working on the game a very long time and have made it a point to hire developers with plenty of knowledge of the PS3 architecture and programming for it. So I have no doubts it will look as good as the 360 version. There will of course be minor differences but for the most part it will be on par with the 360.
