PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

EU Plus content for March will be revealed next week. Hell yeah

Grr I wanna know them this week! Won't get my hopes up on anything grand tho =p
Actually I think Binary Domain will be a freebie, since Middle East Store is the same as EU store.

For that matter....as a Yakuza fan, I confess that BD has been in my backlog since I bought it ;.;

PSN Plus is awesome.... when you are allowed on the PSN Store on the first place!

I am from one of the many countries which are not supported by Sony's PSN so whenever I try to login with my legitimate account I am greeted with the incredibly annoying message:

"Sorry this service is not available to you country or region"

Now - I have managed to go around this by creating a fake UK account + purchasing PSN codes online - this has helped me to buy some games I really wanted to play such as Journey and Flower. Unfortunately this has a big disadvantage, you always end up spending more than you want to, for example if a game costs £8, you end up buying a code worth more than that and end up with pretty much useless change on the store.

Unfortunately I have been bitten when my fat PS3 decided to call it a day, and when I got home with a brand new PS3 I wouldn't get to work any of my Singstar songs I paid for as these were bound to my old console. Fixing this required that I had to phone Sony UK which of course, I didn't find to be a very good idea considering all my details were fake.

I really hope that the PS4 or whatever they will call it will open up the store to more EU countries as the situation as it is really sucks. If I got Steam access, Google Play access, and even App Store access, all legitimately, why cannot Sony do it as well?

PS. I would like to open a thread about this, but I don't seem to have enough 'power' to do so.

Creating a US account would be wiser, you can get wallet top up codes from amazon.com without any additional fees (needs an acount with a possibly fake US address, works with any credit cards) and the prices are actually lower than in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. Sure, their regional policy is peculiar, but it can be taken advantage of.

As for Singstar songs, I'm not familiar with the system, but couldn't you just redownload them on your new system, possibly deactivating your old PS3 through the web interface beforehand?

Singstar is a special and highly ironic case, given that it's Sony's own music game and it's the most restrictive about redownloads. I don't know the details very well since I've stayed well away from it, but I've heard the ranting from PS Nation podcast about how it's handled.

Thanks for your reply. As I buy games (on disc) in Europe, there is a risk that buying DLC for these could be incompatible due to security checks etc.

As for Singstar, the DLC only works with the original system you bought it on. THe only way to get it to work on another system is by phoning Sony, with both system's serial numbers, and they will update the details with your new PS3's serial number. Then you will be able to download the stuff again.

How many times does this have to be explained? Binary Domain was only meant to be the replacement game for Germany because they missed out on Sleeping Dogs. The Middle East store inclusion was obviously yet another SCEE screw up.

I don't think there's any chance of Binary Domain being included next month. I could be wrong but it'd be a pretty stupid move, given that they'd end up having to get another replacement game for Germany (or screw Germans over).

Hmmm. I don't think so.

Because nearly a month ago (before the Germany screw up) they told us that Saudi Arabia will be getting one more game in addition to the European content + it's officially announced in some Arabic gaming sites.

P.S. There is no Middle East store. I think it is just Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates stores. Most of the Gulf countries. And yes they are the same as EU store. :)

Haha, I've totally missed how good this thing is. Gravity Rush is free, Uncharted Vita is free, Sleeping Dogs is free? Good that I actually read one of these e-mails from Sony for once.

I need to remember to renew before the EU deal is over, perfectly timed as my 90 days from the previous deal are running out soon. I'm sure that was well planned by Sony.

Great update. I already have Vanquish, but Mega Man is enough for me.

What's the Dust 514 Starter Pack? The blog doesn't tell me, and neither does the web store.

I can't stand Platinum at all but I won't complain about a free PS3 game that's not from some throwaway budget genre like fighters or puzzle stuff.

I hope Vanquish isn't one of those R2 to shoot games. I've already played it on 360 and would definitely prefer the R2 to slide.

That's a pretty damn good update. Been meaning to play Vanquish for a while now, and while it's worse than the game it remade, MHX is pretty solid.
