No, he recently said that the "details of the release were up to Sony." Which sounds like code for "don't blame me that it's not coming out for PS3."

Still not really hyped for this game yet, though. Love SotC but really how many minutes of footage have been shown of TLG in the last 7 years or whatever? Not enough (for me) to be that excited.

I mean Shuhei Yoshida. I think he confirmed not so long ago it was still a PS3 game. Now maybe he just said that because he knew saying anything else would spark all kinds of speculation that he could do without, but still.
this is what I am expecting to and long as the game is good I don't care how long the wait is .

They are talking about inside source. So not really. I heard about this site earlier but can't remember from what. VGleaks reposted that rumor from which i reposted it here.
As of actual thread i find it believable. Porting to stronger hardware giving better res and frame-rate could really be good decision. We already heard of production problems and lack of power for it in PS3

If this and Versus become PS4 titles, it'll have made the wait worth it, in my opinion.
Just imagining everything we've seen and heard about from both, only now running on ps4 hardware.... *drools*

To those saying this'll totally happen for Versus too, recall that SE has a history of releasing big games around or after the release of the platform's successor console (Final Fantasy XII). Though Lightning Returns is what'll fall into that window this time.

Oh my GOD!! I just woke up from seeing this in a dream and now it is a rumor!!! The game is amazing guys, lots of action and NPCs unlike what we got from them previously, lots of questing etc too, it is like Skyrim meets Xenoblade! Graphics recieved a major bump.
At this point, it may benefit both the PS4 and the game itself if their marketing is tied to each other.

When people first started talking about this I thought they were crazy but now it is starting to seem more than likely. It explains why the game has been MIA for so long, and I remember reading that they had been doing a lot of engine work last year. If it is still a ps3 game I don't have much faith that it will turn out well, even with team ico's pedigree that kind of development has hardly ever led to a quality product.

What a shame i am still waiting for 8 days and wardevil.
Last Guardian on PS4 20th trailer wouldn't feel to bad imo.

I think at some point in the last few years, the people developing this game kinda figured that this game wouldn't run on the PS3. So they could either scrap it or move it to the PS4. Of course the move to the PS4 meant total radiosilence until the console gets revealed. Which seems what has happened, because the game dissapeared from the face of the earth.
I wish I could still get excited about The Last Guardian as it was one of the reasons I bought a PS3, but after so many years of nothing and eventually coming to terms that it's probably going to be a fantastic 5-7 hour experience with nothing more and no replay value I don't see myself finding this the big PS4 sell.
I don't see it living up to so many years of wait and expectations and it's going to have to take a lot more to convince me to buy a console for the one same game twice. So yeah, this wouldn't be what sells me on PS4.

It's such a shame this game got permission to do nothing but waste money for 7 years but 8 days, a far more promising looking game for its repsective time, was cancelled for some shitty casual game that no one bought.
