SCEE must have some good numbers on increased DLC sales for their free PSN+ content. ME3 has as much DLC as to get 50 bucks from fans. Even more from multiplayer perks.

Also I wonder how much of a cut developers get per DLC download? It might all go to the publisher, making PSN+ more attractive.
 
slightly off topic

Tried downloading the Dust starter pack, got an error checking out and even though its in my transaction history its not in my download list and now I cant get it. Urrrgh, happened to anyone before?
 
Now that my Gold has expired, I am *this* close to trading in my 360 and games for a PS3 and then just living off PS+ and exclusives. Because, damn, EUPS+ has been killing it on the Vita (which is why I joined + in the first place) and now I've got access to a pile of quality games for the PS3 that I don't own. Ignoring the games I've got on Steam and March's selection, I've got a backlog of 13 games for the PS3. I have 14 retail 360 games at the moment, for context.
 
Damn I just bought Dead Or Alive 5. Also I wish the MGS HD collection was for PS3. But of course the more Vita games I pile up, the more valuable the Vita will be when I eventually buy it. :)

Oh well, still an amazing update.
 
OMG I was just thinking about pre-ordering DOA5 for Vita and I've been meaning to get MGS collection for a while now. Just made a start on Wipeout 2048 and haven't touched Uncharted yet

Too much goodness

It's not a separate download. When you launch Dust, it's added to your account and you can choose which character to give each of the items to.

I'm well aware that that's exactly what it is for me. PS+ for NA is still a great deal and I'm glad I have it, but just seeing what EU gets week after week makes me wish I used a fake address when I signed up.

Hahahaha. They haven't even mentioned a single piece of their March content, and you're already cussing them out, rather than saying "wow, what a great update for SCEE." Unreal.

Anyway... WOW! What a great update for SCEE. It's the first time any update has involved all games I don't own yet. Jealous.
 
I'm really impressed with what Sony/SCEE is doing with PSN+.
And I thought it would be hard to even top the last one :D For me it's the best month since I signed up.
 
I can't believe more people haven't already bought Vitas because of Plus.

Sony made a mistake by not mandating that the free Vita games be activated on the Vita itself in order for you to keep. That would have moved some units. :P
 
Wooah. Another great month, need to actually finish some of the games I have from previous months in preparation.

Also not sure how much longer I can hold off buying a vita with all the games I now have stacked.
 
Just curious but are people here really hyped for playing Mass Effect 3?
Or are they doing that just so they can experience the disappointment?

Did you try starting up Dust to see if it applied? It doesn't show up in my download list, but I've got it in my game.

I'm hyped to play the Mass Effect series in general. If ME3 were free for me, I'd buy 1 and 2 digitally (though that collection box is super-sexy).

You know damn well there's a 0% chance North America's lineup for March is going to be anywhere near that quality.

I'm actually more hyped about DOA5, not something I would ever have picked up and curious about revisiting the series.

ME3 is a welcome bonus, feel like I've played through the series anyway thanks to GAF so looking forward to finally experiencing one of the games myself.

First time since they started the IGC I don't have anything coming to the service next month. Some big games as well. Not really my type of month, though. Really only interested in Joe Danger 2, but I guess I'll try Puddle and maybe MGS.
 
Haven't seen it mentioned so, quick question:

Even though I own ME3 on disc, is it possible to download it through Plus and use that version off my HDD with all my saves and DLC I've already downloaded?

The ME3 disc is a nightmare for the PS3 disc reader, just chugs and chugs throughout the entire thing.

Unsure why Bioware didn't code in an install like with ME2, it runs much better for it.

Also I bought the CE's version of the game and it's annoying to open up the box and take it out of the steelbook so it'd be very convenient to just load it from my PS3 HDD.
 
Shit, Sony wants me to buy a Vita ... damn.
I guess ME3 is nice for many but i played 1 and 2 on PC and tried the demo/trial version on PS3 for 2 minutes. My eyes were not pleased. Have to try it again. I don't think i will rock insanity with controller like i did ME1 and ME2 multiple times with m/kb.

I guess I'm leaving my Mass Effect 1&2 progress on X360 behind to finish the story on PS3 then.
Is there a way I can make up for the choices I've made in ME1 and 2?
