Well, there isn't one so tell your imagination to stop :T

This shit was so fabulous that even in this low quality the gif was pretty heavy without sacrifices.

Disco Caesar ahhhhh

Well fuck, that was a truly epic episode.
Manly tears, manly quotes, fabulousness.
CAAEEEESAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR

Best episode so far. Animation was on point during the fight. Both Wham and Caesar were great.

I just wish the events of this episode hadn't been so blatantly obvious from the moment I saw the OP. Still cried buckets, but David Production is not very good at not giving things away.

Such a beautiful episode. Even better than the Zeppeli sacrifice episode from Phantom Blood and very emotional. Hard to imagine a better character than Ceasar for this series. Manly tears have been had.

I always thought Wham is more dangerous than ACDC tbqh

Yeah, I've always wondered why ACDC is 2nd in rank, even though it seems that Wham would have smoked him so easily.

Ep 20

Wow that was really well done. Manly tears everywhere.

Hoping
Joseph vs Wham chariots arent CG

Oh, they will be CG, they will be. All the cars and chariots so far have been CG so I doubt they'll give one any spacial treatment, important as that fight is.

Episode 17-20

I've been really behind on this, so I decided to catch up today, finally. Watched 17-19 right before 20 was kinda nuts. The production values, art, and direction in ep20 compared to any of the normal episodes is just unbelievable. Not only does it look like a normal anime with actual budget, but the action was filled with actual movement and storyboarding instead of stills and posing. Holy fucking shit. Episode 20 is without a doubt the best episode in the entire series so far. Pretty much perfect. Now if only every episode could be like that. Lol

Part 7 has the best character, imho.

Gyro Zeppeli

Gyro Zeppeli

Best lol hey I turn out not to be the protag after more than half through the series yeah.
Yeah he's the best though

Ep 20, production values were there, the special effects, the excellent transition from the manga to animation. Everything and the emotion my word the emotion

Would depend on the situation. Only reason Caesar was doing THAT well was because they fought during the day really. No sun = no Bubble Lenses = no massive damage.

How would cars counter the bubbles, though? Unlike Wham he can't burst them without touching them.

Can somebody make the policy for spoilers in this thread clear to me? Because I sometimes click on stuff that I think pertains to the latest episode only to find out manga spoilers with no warning whatsoever. :/

There's a soft-rule against manga spoilers but it's only lightly upheld. Guess the best you can do is just avoid spoiler tags all-together.

I agree with this. I've read the manga, so it doesn't bother me as much, but I don't want other people to get spoiled. Even if it's tagged, this is supposed to be an anime-thread. Keep the (big) manga stuff out.

EP 20

Yeah, was kind of obvious that this episode's moment was going to happen eventually because of the opening, but it was still touching.

Maybe it's just me, but I was somewhat irked with how it seemed that Jojo and Lisa Lisa were right outside the hotel for practically the entirety of Caesar and Wham's battle and only decided to run in when he died.

I didn't want say anything about that part of the opening because later parts of the manga get spoiled here way too often but yeah that seemed obvious. But then I thought I was overreacting since I have direct context of that moment, so seeing the anime-only viewers see that too is reassuring that the OP is poorly put together, they literally could of just moved
that closeup of Ceasar's head directly transitioned to Joseph putting on Ceasear's headband
.

Side question: Is is okay to ask non-plot related questions of later parts here or should I go to the ASB thread? The ASB thread would seem like the right place but my question is so inconsequential to the plot and isn't at all related to the game.

Episode 20 :'(

I already read the manga and knew what was going to happen, but damn that was rough!! :(

Really beautiful episode...the animation was great and so was the VA. both the manga and the anime handled it so great. :(

Mark your spoilers so people know what you're spoiling, and really, you're better off leaving manga spoilers out of this thread entirely.

[anime spoiler for episode one]
OMG DIO IS EVIL

[manga spoiler for the third arc that I really shouldn't be talking about in the anime thread]
OMG DIO IS EVIL

Spoiler from episode 18 or so but not really
They even named that episode "Stroheim's Counter-attack" or something like that which was lol Then again I still maintain that maybe that wasn't the reveal they were focusing on and more the whole cyborg thing. But the ads also make it pretty obvious they expect people watching to have read the manga.

The thing is, everybody in Japan has read Jojo. EVERYBODY. The anime is basically just fanservice, everybody already knows the entire story.

Well yeah but that's still a relatively odd direction choice to basically hype a reveal you have spoiled yourself before hand.

Not really. TWEEEESTS are low-quality in general, good shows are even better when you realize what's coming and then get to see it all play out.
