Woke up this morning and was checking email to see I received one from Amazon saying that Dragon's Crown was going to be sent to me by August 7 of this year. I know we had heard about a Summer 2013 release for Japan but this is great.

the actual date amazon says is the 6th (the op must have one day shipping) which originally the game had a place holder date of July 31st (a weds so obviously a place holder date) August 6th would be a tuesday a legitimate day for release and an odd place holder day. It still might be a place holder, but the atlus facebook page did say summer 2013 recently for NA so it very well could be that day.

Yep. It's probably a legitimate date considering it's a Tuesday and not the end of the month.

I'm surprised more people arent posting about this. I guess simply because it's Amazon.


I am always hesitant to use Amazon and Gamestop dates as correct, but sometimes they line up and are actually correct before we get our official news.

A lot of people seem to believe the two Sept exact dates given for Vahalla Knights 3 and Ys: Celceta, recently given for Vita.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is true. Seems like an ideal release time. Summer seems to be a drought this year (once again).

I'm more surprised that this game hasn't had any update since Atlus took over publishing.

Usually dates for the first or the last of a month are bogus unless it falls on a Tuesday (or for Nintendo Sunday) in which case it's 50/50 odds I think. And even when they are off it's usually by something like a week or so.

And for whatever it's worth Soul Hackers had its date on Amazon, then Nintendo gave the same date in a press release explicitly about when games come out.
