This is not true!!

Please don't believe this game only uses 4 buttons. It has Light, Medium, Heavy, Special as the face buttons, but it also (and very very importantly) uses L and R for assists and team supers, as well as snap backs.

UMvC3 definitely uses all 6 buttons, just like SFxT.

Not in the same way.
Not even close.

Yeah, L and R are A1 and A2... but the only motion you have to worry about is snapbacks and 90% of players don't even bother with snapbacks on consoles unless they're playing at tournament levels. For combos that use assists for OTG or extension, it's really not that bad because tapping L or R is easy enough if you know the timing... leaving it, as I stated before, that the only complexity is the snapbacks and even then, snapbacks for A1 or whatever L is mapped to is the main concern, I think.

SFxT requires strings that potentially use L and or R, special moves can all use L and or R... it's much more complex.

I've hated playing *true* 6 button games (read; Capcom fighters) on consoles without a fight stick since probably 1993.
I have no trouble playing UMvC3, Blazblue, or MK9 on Vita.
I have a huge problem playing SFxT and have to continually think of how to remap my controls so that I'm not dependent on the L button.
Most importantly is the fact that SFxT also has all those MP+FK, MK+FP, FP+FK, cross button requirements.
It's not even in the same league, IMO.

The Plus update for March isn't great. Not interested in Disgaea 3 at all, but i'm sure some will like it. The PS3 update is BEASTLY though.

Sine Mora for me :) Awesome about the free games btw. I could not be happier with my Vita really.

Pure Chess is still expensive.

game need to be $0.99(like the Mastersoft's Chess game on iOS)

I just bought a 32gb card. Its hurts a little.

Whats the best way to transfer saves from one card to the other?

full backup I think.

The problem with a game like Disgaea on PSPlus is generally the ones who would be interested in it already bought it. Especially since jrpgs are slim pickins on Vita. Hope those who wouldnt give it a chance try it, but most of the reasons people dont play jrpgs are pretty much embodied and magnified with Disgaea games. At least the reactions will be entertaining.

Think I will be buying Sine Mora this week.

Are there any other games for Vita that might satisfy a Gradius fan like me?

In my case though, I did not buy a Vita until this weekend, and will be very glad to get to play it for free. I was planning on getting it eventually anyway.

I don't think there is any way that I'll be spending less than $50 this month with all these sales. With all the PS Plus freebies, my Vita cup runeth over.

Through content manager?

Even if i do a back up or just upload all my bubbles to my PC through cm, i still upload saves to the PS+ cloud for each bubble before i delete them now in case something weird happens. I'd rather import the save and have my vita say that the save is already there instead of booting up the game.... with nothing.

Do I have to do that manually?

while a number of people have already bought it, I know a number of my friends are interested in trying the series, but aren't willing to pick it up because they doubt they will like it.

It's a great time for me to finally push my friends into playing the disgaea series with out them having to actually invest money into it, so if they hate it they just wasted time not money. and heck, if just one more disgaea fan is born thanks to it being free it was well worth it being free as the world doesn't have nearly enough disgaea fans.

glad you like them.
I get nervous when i recommend things but they made a world of difference to me in any game where triggers are used some

I was going to thank you but I couldn't remember your username. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

It was either these or the one that comes with a battery pack but you can't have your vita plugged in while that grip is on so not for me.

I'm keeping my copy of Disgaea (not much resale value anyway).

Tekken 6 for free? Yes please. Vita= the best place to play fighting games on a handheld period.

It's one of those games I'd love to try but can't bring myself to pull the trigger on, I'd love it if it were to appear in the EU at some point.

The Vita Plus games are okay, don't really care for Tekken but Disgaea is nice. What's also nice this month are the free (to all members) games:

Wild Arms (PS one Classic)
Patapon (PSP)
Piyotama (PSP)
Patchwork Heroes (PSP)

I'd never buy a Disgaea game outright because I'm not big on SRPGs, but I'll at least give it a shot since it's free... always been curious about the series, since many who like SRPG hold it in high regard.
