Never played a game like Persona and absolutely loved P4G

my hopes have been that the vita will move 200k in japan in march, so around 50k a week, so I am going to stick with my original 50k prediction i made back when the price cut was announced.

The unfortunate thing is that everyone will say it failed regardless of its numbers because it won't do as we'll as Monster Hunter (which should be obvious). It's too bad, because I'm sure it will do decently well.

Edit: wait I thought you were talking about Soul Sacrifice. I'm guessing the Vita will do 50-75k. Hoping, at least lol.

There are tons of tutorials in the game. Never played any of them because i know how to play chess, but they look pretty thorough.

It's a pretty good game. Asynchronous multiplayer too
 
i mean really. it is all the vita needs a little price cut and the thing will move itself.

based off these numbersi wonder how it would do around the world if there was a similar price cut...

im thinking sony was diong this to test the waters.

I got Pure Chess ages ago, just because I've always been curious about Chess, but had never played it until then.

I have to say, I love the game, and am now a huge fan of Chess, even if I suck at it. I should probably get back into it, since I haven't played it in months. Pure Chess was fantastic to play on bus rides to and from work.

It is near impossible to have the movement/speed to what is capable on a fight stick in UMvC3. How could you possibly plink dash with a vita? Plinking is possible on the vita, but double plinking is impossible.

As far as charges are concerned, sword loops (Vergil) are not possible without remapping buttons on the vita (light to either L or R) so that a combo can be executed while charging. Zero loops are also impossible without that method.

SFxT for me personally is no different, or rather, less different than playing on a fight stick. You can still single plink, but a lot of combos don't require it. I can do optimized combos on my vita actually a bit easier than my fight stick just because I play more on the vita.

Using the L button did take sometime for me as well (SFxT). Going into training mode with inputs on showed I would input the trigger before completing the motion. Obviously once you are aware where the problem lies you can work on addressing it. I'm A+ on the vita and have a 90% win rate online, which includes PS3 players. That's not to gloat, but to show that it's definitely a possibility.

I would say personally, after having played both games extensively on the console and the vita, I see a much bigger advantage playing on a stick with Marvel.

Does GAF keep an updated list of Vita game sizes anywhere or know of a site that does? I'm trying to plan out some purchases but want to see what I'm gonna be left with on my card.

BlazBlue for 12 bucks is a good deal but 3.6 GB fuckkkkkk me.

i think waiting for the official numbers is the best as well. hopefully the thing is at at least 50k and it stays there for a while. I want to see the vita in front of the life time japanese 360 sales before TGS :/

Can't help but think that SCE should try to snatch them up to boost their first party offerings. Also to avoid Inafune and Marvelous doing a Soul Survivor spiritual successor of SS on 3DS like Myazaki and From did.

Regardless, this bodes well for a possible IdolMaster and Love Plus game for vita in the near future.

Near is confusing and pretty worthless IMO. They need to revamp and rehaul the app because right now no one knows what it does and how to properly use it.
 
Still relatively new to this Vita carry-on, do all Vita releases come out digitally as well as in shops? I don't know where locally I'll be able to get Soul Sacrifice so buying from the Vita store would be handy. In the EU if it makes a difference.

Every Vita game is released digitally.
 
I don't even know how to deactivate Near now, all I get are notices that I got a "game good" but I have no clue what's going on with it.

Maybe I should test out switching accounts to access the demo; my bubbles just got screwed from a rebuild anyway.

Every game except for maybe one or two is available digitally.

You'll have to go in to system settings, system, and then auto start settings to take near off auto update.
 
man i really wish you could remove some of those pre-installed apps.

or atleast shove em in a folder...

right now i just throw them all in the bottom most page of the home screen. hah! i never go there - in fact i dont even think i put a wallpaper on it.
 
I wish Sony would hurry up with those Vita referrals already.

...Although I bet they're going to deliberately wait until at least after the last day of sales just to annoy us. :/

what is there to get that you are in such a hurry to get? I imagine if there was something that exciting to get you would have gotten it sometime in the last week after the store updated o.O;

also I wouldn't get my hopes up for P4G and EDF to go on sale after the vita sale ends o.O;
