i would assume they will be gone as they said they would change.

I was curious as a number people can't seem to understand that the free vita games won't be up once maintenance is done

It's possible if you were to reformat and buy them from the NA store but you'd have to reformat, thus losing the games, to get back to EU. One account per memory card.

But then I heard that Sony did something to block this opportunity, isn't it?

Moreover, having 2 different memory cards do I avoid problems?
I mean one for PAL and one for US.

So you are telling me that doing the trick you can buy for example SINE MORA at low price in dollars and play it without anyproblem being logged with your PAL account right?

NO. You can't.

If your primary account is EU/AU you can't play anything you bought on the US store. You need to reset your Vita and set it back up with your US account.

It wouldn't be a problem at all really if...

You didn't have to sit through that damn intro video everytime.
It didn't reset all your wallpapers and icon placement
It didn't break pairing with your PS3

I thought it was explained decently well in the OP, but no, you can't buy Sine Mora on one account then play it with another. That's completely impossible now. Memory cards are locked to the active PSN account the moment you format them for the Vita's use and can't be used with another account without formatting it again.

So you are saying that everytime you want to PLAY (so let's assume you just did the trick) the Sine Mora you bought on US store you have to reset your Vita and log as US user? :O

How long does it take?

1 minute to reset the Vita. 10 minutes of bullshit like sitting through the intro video and resetting your icons etc if that kind of thing matters to you.

Having 2 memory cards only means you don't need to format the card to switch accounts. You still need to go through the process of deactivating the account from the Vita and going through the set up process again. In my opinion, it's not really worth it unless there are multiple games you want from another region, or maybe if it's a single game that you will stick with until you finish it so you don't have to keep switching whenever you want to play something else.

PSN+ will only work on the region you activated it on as far as I know.

Agreed, it really isn't worth it if you just want to check a demo or check the US store but I've got a bunch of PSOne games in my US account (superior 60hz) which I'm gonna switch to soon and finish.

Yeah but for 120 bucks, who needs a box? That's over 50% off the MSRP AND if it shows up and you're not satisfied you can just take it to a Best Buy and return it.

I'd do it if I didn't already have one, but I'm one of those people that always buy used consoles.

It's a fun and mindless game with the highest image quality on the Vita besides possibly Virtua Tennis 4. The Vita-exclusive gimmicks (touch-screen duels, etc.) can be annoying at times though.

Great game somewhat marred by shitty touch and motion mini games. It's also technically impressive for a Koei Warriors game. Native res, AA, and a steady 30fps. Not sure how they managed it considering how bad (technically) their games are on current consoles.

actually I think it's important you keep in mind it might not include anything more than the vita... and that includes no usb cord or adapter or even battery

Good - everything else.


*You can turn off the motion stuff but it makes some non-essential bits harder.

A huge chunk of Ubisoft is probably working on AC IV: Black Flag, so I'm not sure if Sofia had any say in the matter, lol.

You can skip the annoying intro by shutting the Vita off and turning it back on. Still its been frustrating having to do it in order for me to go back and forth between P4G and Senran Kagura.
