CTF<<<<capture points

I...think this might be me. My favorite UT gamemode was Assault and Onslaught. TF2 is all about capture points. My favorite mode in Gears 3 was KotH.

I think I just like the centralized nature of capture points. You always know where the action is.

Halo 2 had some fun-ass CTF matches, though

AC4 is my new most anticipated game. AC3 was my goty 2012.

Platinum Games are corny, lame, and overrated.

I've sat down with Bayonetta on multiple occasions and I still don't get it.

i couldn't finish Bayonetta. I've decided that Platinum's game are mechanically great, but that their style just isn't for me.

I think Nintendo are not able to innovate, they just rehashes the same characters over and over and over. They are the most boring game company in the industry.

Bad Company 2 is the best Battlefield game in the entire history of the series.
BF3 was a step down in almost every respect, especially fun factor.

God of War is a boring, one note franchise. In fact I think almost all of Sony's "stellar" 1st party line up is a collection of polished turds.

I love Assassin's Creed III, the best AC game I ever played, and I love Connor, I also like Desmond and the future stuff, but I don't want it to overshadow the historical settings, still the modern part is a strong part of AC to me.

but it doesn't stop there, nope

I actually love Splinter Cell Conviction, that doesn't say I don't see its flaws, or didn't want more stealth options, but I always find myself defending SCC so much, heck I even defended M&E, but I am not sure about Blacklist, the new voice actor and the basterdiazation of Sam Fisher by making him younger and immortal, meeeeeeeeeeh.

Castlevania Lords of Shadow is my favorite hack n slash game ever, blow me off, better than God of War and Devil May Cry, but I know for sure Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 will eclipse all the other games, and I don't like Bayonetta that much.

I buy Sony systems and will definitely buy a PS4, but I don't see what was so godly about their PS4 presentation. Not one single game I want, I'm not one of those who buys shiny hardware just because. My favorite part was the controller, actually.

LBP is the worst purchase I've ever made for my PS3.
ACIII is kick ass. The setting is my favorite part of the game, and Conner is a great character.

The new Tomb Raider shits on Uncharted 2 and 3 in every conceivable way outside cut scenes.

its only better than the first Uncharted. Doesn't shit on it.

I don't like any of the classic Sonic games (or the modern ones). Tried to get into them, but I just find it the speed of it and things like its bumpers too confusing. Perhaps because I grew up with Mario and expect a platformer to play a certain way I'm unable to appreciate Sonic.

Didn't enjoy Mario Galaxy 2. The only reason I played as much of it was to get to the Throwback Galaxy. The first one didn't really appeal to me either. I like the structure of Mario 64 and Sunshine better. The waggle also really irked me even though the extent of its application was pretty minimal.

This logic makes no sense because 2 and 3 shit on 1. Golden Abyss is already so far flushed down the toilet it can't get shit on.

  • Metal Gear Solid 2 isn't just the best MGS game, but the best game ever made in multiple aspects
  • Half Life 2 ruined FPS games.
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day was Rare's best game
  • World of Warcraft was always shit except for WOTLK
  • The only reason to own a PSP was emulation and Peace Walker
  • The N64 was actually pretty shitty
  • Metal Gear Rising and Metal Gear Solid 4 ruined Raiden's character
  • DmC was an absolutely atrocious insult to the genre and franchise
  • Zelda makes for a better handheld series than a home console franchise
  • Metroid isn't very good
  • Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is the only good Uncharted
  • Halo 3 was the best entry
  • This whole generation was a disappointment
  • PlayStation 4 will come last next generation

I could go on, but that's it for now. Just my opinions.

I came out unimpressed too. I bet the PS4 will be quite the machine but awful presentation. Social this. Social that. Games that look like current PS3/360 games. An impressive looking Capcom game with a possible fake HUD so in the end really not that impressive. PIXAR people beating instruments. I'm still excited about it because I know about two years down the line we will see some awesome stuff. But, meh reveal at best.

This is the most hipster-y statement I've ever heard.

Everyone knows LttP and Links Awakening are the only Zeldas worth playing.

OoT is over rated and has dated very badly and has the worst final dungeon ever.

Sega should have fought to the end and held off MS rather than quitting like pussies.

I don't know how controversial this is, but still. I couldn't stand Assassin's Creed because of the stupid scifi virtual genetic reality stuff. Just seemed so unneeded and silly.

I also hated the beginning when you're demoted, you suddenly no longer know how to tackle, dodge, or catch a ledge. So dumb.

Killed the series for me.

Poor controls should knock a game down in the reviews more than any other category. Therefore, Kid Icarus Uprising deserved a 5/10 from every outlet, at best.

The best FPS I have played on current gen systems is Killzone 2. That game was better than Resistance 1-3, and all the Halos. The only game that tops it to me is Half-life 2.

FF8 was the best FF.

Squall is awesome.

Killzone 2 is the best FPS I've ever played, along with Goldeneye and Turok on the N64 (haven't played many). No other FPS matched KZ's gunplay for me.

I'm with you. The hardware is interesting and there's a lot of potential but the only game that looked like something I wanted to try was Watch_Dogs and I can play that on the PS3 I have now if I want.

2-3 years from now we might have something, but for now it's a lot of excitement without much justification.

I'm with you, too. Connor is a really interesting character with genuine pathos that was denigrated because he wasn't as "fun" as Ezio despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to be, and has very good reasons not to be. Whatever problems AC3 had, they weren't in the characters.

Mortal Kombat 2 was better than Street Fighter 2. Garou is the best fighting game ever, hands down. Yoshi's Story is better than Super Mario 64.

I'd take playing a game on a 4-5 inch screen and have it be portable over playing on an 80-inch screen any day.

And I still think Twilight Princess is the best LoZ.

Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

Hate them. I love them for the first 25-30 minutes when I'm exploring for the first time. Then I just hate the bad animations, lifeless worlds (towns with 15 NPCs) and the overwhelming amount of content. Also coming from a background of action games the terrible combat really pisses me off.
The sad part is I really love the ideas and production values behind games like Fallout, but I just cannot get into them. Meh.

Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

Hate them. (more stuff)

Walking around the world of Skyrim actually disturbs me. The lifeless animations and the "staged" look of towns creeps me out. It's like walking through the somewhat frozen set of a horror movie. No game has ever had me buy into its world less.
