The controls don't 'hit a wall', you did. It only gets harder as you go along, and the controls hold up. I platinumed the game over 17 hours of play without much trouble.

I am surprised that you seem to like the game as much as I do, but only played 17 hours, lol. I played like 70 so far and still FAR from platinuming it.

Once I hit the platinum I took a break from it for a while - I was just glued to it night after night and I think the bf had had enough of my swearing trying to beat a mate's times. Haha.
Amazing game, probably my top 3 handheld games of all time - was keen on going back and trying to one up all my lap times again but haven't managed it yet.
I love BB, it's my favorite fighter this gen (not a fighting fanatic), i played a few GG during PS2 era (inb4 UMvC, TxSF, etc). I would be tempted to buy the Vita game, but i already own the PS3 version, but the game has a good amount of content. The console version includes Continuum Shift's campaign, not sure about Vita, but i would guess that it does too.
for those who want to take advantage of the PS+ sale prices (but do not want to pay for a full subscription), it's a good time to look for those one month US PS+ codes
EDIT: though I don't understand why you would not want a PS+ subscription
Though buying a PS+ Sub puts them closer the $50 for march...... even more possibilities lol.

Cheers I'll prb never plat the game. I played it most during my 1st year of college during dorm life.... when vita didn't work with Dorm's wifi. I've probably put in 15-25, but I'll prb never beat the pit wall without many many many more hours. I've had to commit a ton of time just to get the times that i have currently xD
quick question, for uncharted fight for fortune the card game, do you need to have golden abyss? i sold my copy a while ago, and i read something on the store that you have to launch this game through golden abyss. kinda glad i read that before i bought it, but is that true?

Bullocks. Its a standalone game that is enhanced by having the savegame of Golden Abyss, but its not needed.
Definitely a fun card game.

how is it enhanced? by other treasures you collect in golden abyss? i really wanted to check this out but that made me hesitant for obvious reasons
^ pretty much the collectables in GA unlock things for the card game.
EDIT: Because i haven't seen any posts on this page at least. I just got on the Vita Store, Maintenance seems to be done 2 hours early.

it's really good, simple to control but hard to master and you get big satisfaction when you nail a really good run, you also felt like you're learning something new all the time.
the feeling I got playing Motorstorm RC is kinda similar with what I got from Urban Trials game, you can lost hours with just 1 track alone.

There's nothing like the ability to do multiple accounts like on PS3.

Right, because it's totally not the games fault to suddenly throw uncontrollable vehicles at players and expects them to be able to handle it with the shitty throttle controls, right? *rolls eyes*
I don't think the game is bad, I however find the game bad because the controls hit a wall and don't improve. Even if I spent 30 hours with the game after giving up, I'd still say the same damn thing: the controls are awful on anything above that wall (see: anything above the dirt bikes and at least 50 events of 100[?] events in).
I'm glad I got it for free, but I kinda regret playing it because now I've got like 20% of the achievements on my list and I simply can't be assed to sit there for hours trying on one event to three star what would be a rather easy event if the stupid fucking cars would stop hitting walls despite me doing .001% speed on the goddamn stick/throttle.

Oh man I forgot Unchained Blades was on sale. Is that part of the sale that ends the 12th or is that a seperate sale that ends tomorrow? I forgot I have that $10 credit still so maybe I will get a $50 card and get LoTR Lego, UMvsC3, Unchained Blade and Sine Mora.

Dunno what to tell you. If you're hitting walls a lot maybe you need to change your technique
I won't argue that there's a learning curve (which might turn some people off - but that's hardly a fault of the game), but if games were super easy there wouldn't be much point playing them. Like Toma said, we both managed to do it fine - I was continually improving getting my Pitwall tournament times down to get achievements - So obviously the controls are not an issue. The cars are not 'uncontrollable', clearly, if people are managing to get gold medals on all events and beat eachother's times. You're claiming it has an unworkable control scheme which just isn't true.
Your criticism boils down to the fact that the game isn't super easy. Which is a plus, to me. Switch it to accelerator on X, if you're having issues - I know the androgyne platinumed the game with the dual-stick control method. So both are usable.

My Japanese language teacher actually explained it to us the other day. The reason for nose bleeds is because they are working themselves up to the point where this can happen and they can pass out.
This is also why, when they consume very little alcohol, their faces will flush and they get drunk faster than most of us. They also have better diets than we do which is why most of them are shown as lean. They don't really eat all the fatty foods we're used to so there isn't much to offset the alcohol in their system.
Fun fact- On Friday nights, my teacher said it isn't uncommon to have to watch where you step because people will yack all over the street in public.
