There was a Jay Z + FF7 mash up I use to have called the Mako Album in which the producer combined Jay's verse from the black album into FF7 sampled tracks. Half of it was absolutely terrible because the timing was off so it didn't sound like he was flowing right and then the other half actually worked well and sounded good.

I tried mashing up "If I Ruled The World" with CT's "Secret of the Forest" but it didn't work out as well as I thought... maybe because the timestretching software I was using was kinda shit (this was before Ableton Live became big).
