Outland is awesome, and BG&E, when I played it back on PS2, was SOOOO good, but I haven't played it in a long time so I don't know how well it holds up.

I'm not a fan of the Persona but absolutely love FFT...
except for the epic slow down on the PSP game.

BG&E is the only good one there. All the other are pretty mediocre IMO.
it's not the right thread but CoH is godly, best game of this generation for me (bought it on PSN/XBLA/Steam since the HD and online play are wonderful, got it on DS as well but it's less interesting and not balanced)
I have outland and it's really good. Fun if you have someone to co-op with also.

Users at PSLS Lifestyle are reporting that the firmware update does actual useful stuff, including frame rate issues for NLKS. (Placebo effect?)

Not sure why everyone is believing this.
They are very different on pretty much every point of view.
If you like or feel like SRPGs right now you should get FFT, if you prefer JRPGs with a twist you should get P3P. I really couldn't say which one is my favourite, one is an immortal classic, the other one is among the best JRPGs from the last decade (even in its controversial Portable version).
Last week's Vita Anniversary games are back at full price, and Ubisoft games are at $18.89 now. I see nothing about a PS+ discount (yet?) though.

Trails in thr sky is not a vita game it's a psp game, it has nothing to do with vita having games or not.
Trails was popular on gaf before vita released...
Persona is super popular too and it's a ps2 game, has always been popular (don't ask me why)
I didn't like persona 4 much but at least it's a lot better than trails.
There ARE lots of good psp/ps2 games though that work on vita

I'm so bummed about that 32gb card order from AT&T getting cancelled. I was really looking forward to having that extra space. My two 16GB cards are almost full and I have already deleted stuff just to make room for other things (namely NGS+ and PSASBR). And I mostly buy retail games on physical carts.

Yeah, me too. The two car levels are awesome. I wish there were more. I'm playing some of the levels in these Milkcrate albums and MAN are people making good levels! I haven't played any community levels since like September or October so these are all new to me. I'm super impressed.
Still waiting on that Sound Shapes update for the UK, looking forward to it. I was always asking for offline support as well, so glad he put it in.

Besides the long load times, it's a blast. PS3 version's better obviously, but you could still have a great time if you were playing only the Vita version.
I would really like to know this as well. Peace Walker is awesome on the Vita. If the above games allow the right analog to be used for the camera, I am in. I am pretty sure Forgotten Sands is more of a sidescroller.
Also, is Lumines worth it for $13?

I heard AC Blood lines isn't that great, and considering we have a proper AC game in Liberation. I'd save for that.

If you own a Vita they might as well be.
There are two different warp items if I'm remembering correctly. When you use one, it gives you the option to reenter the place from the floor you left. You can buy one of the items from the start, if recalling correctly.
The items are one time use. You really shouldn't need to exit an area more than a few times, if at all. Make sure you kill any hands you see on the map. It's a great way to get moneys.
You can just run up the dungeon without attacking any enemies. You can also use the Go-HoM item to escape back to the entrance of the dungeon and return to the floor you were on later.
Ok thanks again, hopefully they aren't too frequent and levels last for a while, I can usually put up with it. Hopefully it's not soul destroyingly long
My PS3 laser needs cleaning (I think, errors etc). Thought you only get the vita code with the PS3 retail version but this seems much more convenient for me, might alternate between the two for the graphics, thankfully it's cross-save.
Repeating my question since I am rather annoyed at the issue:
Can anyone else not login to dl the Vita firmware update?
I'm logged in fine, but it did download the update overnight last night so I don't know if that's related. I installed it before attempting to connect today.

There's a way to download it manually as well I think? I remember it gave me 2-3 options..the first was over wifi, perhaps the others are over ps3 or if you can download the file and put it on vita? Sorry not sure, not sure where you can dl the upgrade from either.. Could just be heavy usage or something at the moment? I don't remember needing to login to download the update..might have done it background or something though.
Speaking of that, where is the setting for the automatic fw update? I have PS+ as well, why didnt it automatically dl it.
