Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | March 2013 | Carving an Independent niche

I guess I'm just not meant to be apart of the 32gb master race...

1 order with Amazon cancelled (since they were OOS and I didn't want to wait the week or so for restock) and now 1 AT&T order cancelled because att&t sucks

I continue to slog away with my 16gb card, I really wish I would have bought a second 16gb card on BF when I bought my Vita and 16gb card.

I suppose I was just meant to wait for either a price drop or a bigger card to be offered by Sony

Top o' the page recommendation! Buy Lumines it's on sale! I did and I can't put it down!

I'm waiting for that bigger card too. I only got two gigs on my 32 gb. No PSone games on it or PSP games. All of that space is taken by PSV games. I wanted to buy Lumines today so I can get rid of my card. I'm doing what i thought was impossible. Mostly digital distribution on my portable. ACK.

I bought a Vita today since it was on sale at the Sony Store. I'm really not familiar with the system, so I have some questions...

If I buy the PS1 Classics version of FFVI on my PS3, can I Remote Play it from my Vita? Or do I have to buy it for each system?

Also, I wanted to Remote Play Ni No Kuni, but it won't let me boot it. I've seen some videos on YouTube of people doing it, so is there a setting I need to adjust?

Seems there's an interview with NIS in this week's Famitsu. Google tells me it's very likely for more Disgaea on Vita (I am shocked).

Remote play works for all PSOne games. But if the game runs on the Vita, you should just transfer it to the vita and play it there. You do not need to buy the game twice.

Ni No Kuni does not support remote play. People running remote play with that game are using custom firmware. The PS3 does not support remote play system wide, but that will only happen for the PS4. It is expected that nearly every PS4 game will run on the Vita through remote play.

Thanks! The reason I didn't want to put it on the Vita is because I only have an 8GB memory card (the one that came with it), and I didn't want to fill it up. So it seemed like a good idea to stream it from my PS3. But maybe I can just transfer a few games over at a time and delete them when I'm done.

There's also a Japanese developers comment on PS4 section. Vita pops up a few times but I dunno if that's just for "LOL we don't have to make Vita games anymore, thank you Remote Play!" or something.

Wait Remote Play works for all PS1 games? I can keep my JRPGS on my PS3 and zap them to my vita? Do they look equally as good?

Plants vs zombies is addicting as fuck. Why didn't I play this game earlier. Oh well, it's perfect on the vita anyway.

usual reasons why people don't play plants vs zombie earlier.

A. against all odds they hadn't heard of it.
B. they hate zombie games and thus avoided it.
C. they thought the idea of plants vs zombies was stupid.
D. they hate tower defense games

in general... most people were wrong to have skipped it...
I still remember the original release trail for plants vs zombies... it was amazing timing as it was an april fools trailer that people just thought was a great joke instead of a the start of a great game lol.

The Sexy Seashore ($1.49) is a horizontal shmup about sexy ladies and cats

Lol I actually looked this up and "sexy ladies" is exaggerating a bit.

However I did happen to notice "chimpact" on ps mobile. Based on screenshots alone, graphics look incredible for a ps mobile game. Has anyone played this? Impressions?

Japanese voice add-on will be available at west later, right?
I guess it's just opposite of what people are getting at west.

mostly I found it odd that it will be available 3.5 weeks before the english release. I mean I suppose the voices will be done before release, but i wasn't really expecting the english voices to hit japan until after the NA release.

Headphones are the only way to go because Vita speaks are total crap.

better speaker in the future Vita revision is a must.

I really don't see a point in them spending money on great speakers in the vita when anyone that cares about audio quality will just have a nice set of headphones anyways

E- they refuse to pay 15$ for smartphone game

sure, but sometimes you don't want to use headphones, sometimes while playing on bed or want to watch a match on the TV while playing something on Vita..ect, the speakers quality are unacceptable even shitty non brands Chinese android tablets got better speakers than what Sony put inside Vita.

They're adequate, I think. The stereo effect is quite dramatic even on lower volumes, and I found Uncharted pretty atmospheric for the half hour I could stand of it.

Yup the Speakers are garbage on this,I hope the revision has much better speakers.

first off it was a PC game long before it hit smart phones thus it's a PC game :P... second I was talking in general... heck plants vs zombies was free for a month around hallo ween last year for the pc version, and I know it's been free on android and IOS before.

I suppose the $15 thing applies to someone who only owns a vita and a computer from 1998 though.

Personally I find the speakers to be just fine for multitasking.

Good shit.

How's the new Sound Shapes DLC? Are the car levels fun?

wasted my monies :(

there is 1 tutorial and 2 levels; one for each car. Both of which I ended in 10 minutes.
should had been atleast 2 tracks per vehicle. So for 2$ u get only 2 tracks and one tutorial that is free to play without the dlc. If u don't want to build levels don't buy it. Includes loads of building features and beat school levels. No use for me.
The levels made with this dlc will be playable even without it.
But cars are really fun!

I think the speakers are okay, just too soft. I can pretty much hear it in a quiet room. Otherwise, you need headphones.

I'm having what you might call a problem.

Back in the day, when I bought my PSPGo, there was an action through which I could get 10 PSP Games, digitally, with my purchase. Assassins Creed: Bloodlines was one of them. Tried it, found the controls to make the game unplayable, never looked back at it again.

But now, with the vita, there's a second mappable stick and more. So I thought, lets try Assassin's Creed again...
...but the Store doesn't want me to.

When searching on the Vita's store it say's I have to buy it for 9,99.
Downloadlist, scrolling like a maniac. Finally found it, "can't download this on Vita"
Allright, that can happen. Let's try the PS3 store then! Searching; 9,99. Back to the scrolling then. Found it; can't hit the download button:
WTF
So, uh, help? :P

oh.. PSPgo,the hand-cramp machine, What were Sony thinking when they designed that awful thing?it was even worse than GBA SP in it's design.

"How can we get Vita day and date digital release for every game, AND get a massive backlog of digital PSP titles for Vita to play so we don't have to include a UMD drive?"

They were thinking "Hey, look at the millions of people who buy the 16 Gig iPod Touch for $300 (at the time), and it doesn't even have buttons".
