One month from today: BioShock Infinite

What the hell is "staged manhole" supposed to mean?

Didn't the original SMB manual call the pipes "manholes"?

Mangholes.

Wow, this is a great piece. Says more about the game than the current cover and is way nicer to look at. I still cant believe the target demographic (which Im a apart of) would prefer a generic cover especially for a game that is nothing but ordinary.

Looks too much like a love story for Bro Gamer to feel comfortable picking up. There isn't even a shotgun in that pic.

I also love how clean the whole cover is, no stupid logos or anything. Well done Gamereactor.

This is the reverse cover.

I want to know why all their reverse cover options were so awful though. I mean I think that's the one I voted for, and it was the only one that even scratched the surface of "OK", but my god... so many better options out there for them

I wonder how the game is structured, like is it one big chase situation where Booker and Elizabeth constantly have to outrun the different enemies?

It's been a while since I got anything delivered from Amazon. I'm starting a new job on the 25th and have release day delivery scheduled (the 26th, duh). Is Amazon through FedEx or UPS usually? They will probably require a signature, no? I think the easier thing will be to have it re-routed to my new office, no?

UPS or regular ol USPS. Ive never had anything FedEx'ed through them and I have crap coming to me a few times a week.

Maybe it's a limited edition

-.- when was the last time limited meant actually limited? you still can find copies of Bioshock 2 SE around.

Baffles me steam top 10 list is always filled with pre-orders... like WHY? is Steam running out of copies?

uggg.. no disrespect, but WHY PEOPLE PRE-ORDER!? be a smart consumer, read review then purchase product. We would have less and less publishers/dev abusing consumers ala Aliens or Simcity.

Because we want our toys that come with the special editions.

When Uncharted 2's Fortune Hunter Limited Edition came out. So hard to find in stores!

That's right, because it was never released in stores, it's so limited the few copies that came out in a wild went for like a thousand bucks or some shit. I wanted that fucking dagger so bad!

Also, b/c there will always be people that want it day 1. That and a lot of times, the preorder price is cheaper than the immediate post release price.

As for me, well I had Amazon credits to use so this game isn't costing me anything.

The Ultimate Songbird edition is apparently close to selling out.

I've a "Batarang" replica that's nifty, but is tantamount to a paperweight. For the record, I only own the Batman: Arkham Asylum Collector's Edition because I won it in a contest from PlayStation: The Official Magazine.

I don't care for "special editions." They're intrinsically the sort of thing that ends up tucked away in a box inside my closet. But I can respect the enthusiasm people have for them.

Because I'm usually pretty sure whether or not I'm going to like something and don't need some sort of confirmation from an outside source that isn't me that I will or won't like it. I also normally get some pre-order only goodies that at worst, I wouldn't get otherwise or at best, would have to pay for later as DLC.

Anyone on this board could have told you Aliens was going to be shit before it came out.

Arent those Songbird editions basically scarce now?

Indeed they are. I wish I could have preordered it, but if my Premium edition cost 195$ imagine how much it would have cost if it had been the Ultimate Songbird Edition.

Why did it cost so much? Did they gouge you for shipping costs or something? I mean damn, that's more than double the price for it.
