Persona saleeeee :O
is this the lowest that all the persona games have ever been? :O

gosh.. with the buy $50, get $10 back... this is awesome

I've already spent $60 this month, and I'm thinking about sneaking in a few PSN cards before March ends! Sony, I NEED that 64/128 GB card, I beg of you!

Pulled the trigger on the HSG DLC, my game of the forever...

But guys, is Persona 3 Portable, THAT bad? I only made it about half way through Persona 3 proper, but I've been loving the shit out of P4G, and now that it's almost over, I'm going to be going through some serious withdrawal.

p3p is fine, it's just not the ultimate version that people hoped for like p4g is.

ditto on the memory cards bit...
seems like there's some reason to go physical afterall...

(PlayAsia has the physical game for $29.99 free shipping)

Guys, I've never played any MonHon games. Soul Sac was going to be my first experience (I know, I know, not really the same thing). Should I risk Freedom Unite at $9.99? I get sucked into certain games fairly easily. I passed on DJMax out of fear I won't emerge from playing for months.

I am going to scoop up Persona 2 for sure though since it's on sale and never played.

MHFU sucked a solid 700+ hours out of me...yeah its worth it. Especially if you have a PS3 ad-hoc party. The Fun never ends.

The latest PSASBR patch with Isaac and Zeus is available to download now. Another one that's a little over 800mb... they really can't make these any smaller, huh?

Also, those Capcom Classics Collections are definitely great for $5 each. Strider, Knights of the Round, King of Dragons, Final Fight, etc. on your Vita!

EDIT: Power Stone and Ultimate Ghosts 'n' Goblins are great for $5, too. In fact, pretty much anything on that sale is good. Get everything.

oh man..
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite... and Power Stone Collection as well..

It's gonna be very easy to hit those Spend $50, Get $10... now.

EDIT: how I hope the PSP games... included some form of PSN features... (trophies? not that I'm a Trophy Hunter... but it's nice to have)

Cool. Worst case, I'm out $10.

the main issues people have is they changed non dungeon movement from running around a map to more of a menu based navigation and that they took out a number of animated scenes and just did them in game..

on the plus side the portable version allows you to control your whole party (that alone makes it worth it to me) and allows you to play as a female and experience some new lines and social interactions.

the ps2 fes version has an extra campaign that is a few hours long, but despite really enjoying persona 3 I couldn't get through it... it was just to much of a grind so I don't feel like it's a big loss. (this is coming from someone who has put 500 hours into disgaea 2 lol)

According to others the patches for PSASBR replaces data so the actual size of the game is not as affected as the size would lead you to believe.

Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded and Capcom Puzzle World are PSP only. Grr.

Power Stone Collection and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max work on Vita though.

Atelier Totori looks fun but I'm still not sure I want to update just yet.

Ugh, another game I was looking forward to ruined by digital-only. With this and the removal of JPN audio from Ayesha, Tecmo Koei seems intent on ruining the series for me right as I start to play it :/

Oh, really? :( I was kinda wanting to get the Capcom Collection thing.

Hmm well that's better, I guess. I still need to clear space for those big dang ass patches though. D:

Oh. :/ They work on my EU account and I'm pretty sure I remember someone from NA talking about playing them on Vita too? Maybe it works through PS3 transfer.

given they haven't announced totori vita is releasing yet... I am holding out illogical hope it will still have a physical release, despite the fact the game is on the psn right now :/

A physical release will just lose them money. This is atelier folks, on the vita.

well I know a physical release would net them at least 1 more sale :P
I was ready to buy totori day 1 with a physical release... I won't even touch this digital release unless I get it free from PS+ or if it hits $9.99 on a sale.

If NisA was handling the series I have no doubt it would have had proper announcements about it releasing and a physical release :/

Don't digital versions tend to sell like 10% as much as physical? By that logic they may as well have simply not bothered localizing it at all if it was such a risk. I'm a second sale lost. $40 digital-only releases are a joke.

This game has been ruined! It used to be good when it was on a disc but now it's just ruined!

I can rarely justify spending more than $20 on a digital release. The lack of being able to lend it to a friend or sell it if I desperately need money (not something that should happen, but it does play a factor in my purchases) is a huge minus to me.

There are very few series out there that are must plays for me that I would buy them digitally for a high price.

... like P4G?

pretty happy that P4G is now $30 though... but now my 32GB is totally filled up
not sure if I should just go for the physical edition... (but the idea of bringing game carts around is... )

bought Lumines and Rayman Origins (Vita) before the sale ended... hope I don't regret it (e.g. them coming to US PS+ soon after.. lol.. afterall Lumines was on EU PS+)

I'm dying here, just bought technika tune from PA and now I'm tempted to get Totori, P4G and DOA5+. :/

I wish we knew if totori is getting a physical release or not.

... like P4G?

if p4g was digital only I wouldn't have bought it until it went half off to $20. I already own persona 4 on the ps2 and on paper the upgrades for p4g weren't exciting enough for me. actually playing it was a different story, but on paper I wasn't all that impressed with the improvements.

With P4g I was on the edge of if I would get it day 1 in general, (part of it was I didn't have a vita at the time) but when new egg did it's promo for $10 off a preorder I jumped on that and kept my preorder plus the skin for $30 day 1.

I just keep p4g in my vita. My general views are I will keep the cart I want to play in my vita, and if I feel like I want something different randomly that is what my ps+ games are for. aside from the cart in my system my carts don't leave the house... I am a fickle gamer and jump games all the time but I can at least figure out what I want to play before I leave the house (most of the time)

Still don't have any games apart from the PS+ instant collection, the two GOW PSP games, and I've ordered Persona 4. Haven't even played my vita much since I've been busy with Pokemon white 2. Hopefully I can get more games soon and spend more time with the vita.

hmm. PA's pricing for Technika Tune is still pretty high. can only hope they bring down the pricing on the digital.. sheesh :/

It's awesome that they released Totori with Japanese voices, but for regular retail price I can't bring myself to buy it. I'd rather import the Japanese cart for $50.

despite me holding out illogical hope for it, I figure it only has about a 10% chance for an english physical release at this point, and that would all be for an EU exclusive physical release. The odds of a NA physical release at this point are likely around .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% :/

I see.. I actually feel bad now. I was really hoping for it to go on a discount.. but now when it actually happens... you kinda reconsider again.. (esp with the memory card being full now)

going digital is very convenient... but things like..
(1) memory card prices - I have a 32GB
(2) inability to resell the games..
factor in purchasing decisions...

(if they are all 9.99 and under.. it would not be so hard).

I semi-regret getting MGS HD Collections on the Vita... (on sale) still haven't got down to playing it.. (think it was $22 when I got it)

hmm. it's $45 on the PSN store now.. (not sure if they dropped the price or what).
I am just hoping for it to go on sale... (can't get myself to drop $40 on a music-game as much as I know I will enjoy it)

I bought it because I haven't played a music game in a while and think won't have much of a problem selling it for $30 if I don't like it.

I'm way over my gaming budget for this month but I guess that spend $50 get $10 back could push me to get another game :/.

They may sell more copies but make less profits. Physical copies costs money for the production, packaging and distribution.

it depends on how many copy differences there are if they only sell 5k copies digitally getting $30 per copy that is 150k

if they sold 20k physically even making just $10 per copy that would still be 200k.

no doubt physical copies cost more to produce than digital copies, but physical sales also tend to be quite a bit better than digital.

Unforunately cause its 3Gb I actually can't buy Atelier cause my 4Gb is crying as of now. Physical or nada. Wish the damn memory cards would go on sale for a reasonable price...

Woah, DoA5+ demo looks insanely good. I just played MK for a little bit so I wasn't prepared for it to look so nice.
It's quite the looker, especially if you haven't played the PS3 version. I only wish I could adjust screen settings like NGS+ though, since the colors are a bit too muted for my liking.
