I got my copy from Shopto on Wednesday so I'd assume it should be up on the store today?

So MH fans here, can I transfer my save file and progress from freedom 2 to freedom unite?
Seeing as I know I would like the game if it had multiplayer despite my issues with it, I am wondering if the cat helper things you can get in Unite would have a similar effect. That feeling of having a team (distractions to help you basically). Also my file has about 20 hours of progress. Would I be able to get the cat things straight away or is there still ages to get them. If so I wont bother but Im kinda tempted. I really want to like the game.
At £7.99 it might be worth a punt to see if I can get into the game with that addition.
Although I just bought FFIX this morning and have a few more things in RO to do so I might be best just waiting for SS and then maybe trying this later in the year.

From what I remember you need a certain amount of stars to access each Vs match and the crown requirements appear once you have completed the game. So yeah you gotta win all those platinum matches.

It should be, but it isn't. The Walking Dead (PS3) has hit the store so they're updating, but DOA5+ is AWOL.
Perhaps it'll appear later. If not, I'm tipping over a digital magazine rack.

Now that you've unlocked the platinum tier you'll be able to see the crown requirements for each stage. Completing crowns unlocks the second VS for each tier (which is an alt costume, it's basically the same challenge as the normal VS but with harder conditions and a points match), once you've got all other crowns (44 total I think) then you'll unlock the final challenge.
EDIT: Also, the game has an active OT.
One of the community managers RT'd a tweet from Tecmo saying it's now available. I asked them if it was up on the store and he said he didn't think so. Not much help I know, I assume it'll go up at some point today.

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
If Sound Shapes had only that one mode it would have been the worst game I played on Vita, and one of the worst games I played ever.
It randomly generates levels that can't be beaten until, by luck, it generates one that can. That's awful game design.

Maaaaan, that's impressive. I can't get past silver tier. My putting game is so weak that the greens on Legacy Links course totally fuck me over. I can't be arsed to practice enough to get past 'em.
Didn't stop me buying the DLC though.

It's actually a silver challenge (5-3, the La Provence Impossible Pin challenge - keep GIR and win) that I'm stuck on. I can win the challenge with a new character with zero loyalty with my eyes closed, but it only takes one mistake and the crown is gone. :'(
There are four crowns that gave me trouble (i.e. required more than a few attempts). The two VS matches against Grace (one putt all holes) and the silver and gold -3 (keep GIR) challenges. No matter how hard I try I tend to make a single mistake - and I actually find myself making more mistakes when I try to play it safe because I'm much more used to aggressively going for the pin at all times.

I can't quite figure out what it's supposed to be, exactly. To me, it seems like it's like the original Crash Bandicoot game, only with paper-cut out style graphics and presumably a lot of gimmicky use of touch controls.
I liked Crash Bandicoot, but I really didn't like LBP's platforming (sorry, I know it's a cliche, but I really didn't)
Not sure about the save transfer but yeah the cat does sort of act as a distraction sometimes and can be a big help in that way. Its not like having a team but its a big improvement. I am picking up a 3DS and MHTU because I am such a damn sucker for those games. I killed most of the monsters in MHF2 with no help and no team so I don't mind going solo so much.

Thanks. If I can transfer then I might give it a go. I got over how I hate the controls so this is its biggest issue for me. Shame there is no multiplayer online. I just find having the main monster and all the other monsters tageting you 100% of the time frustrating in a game with such slow paced animation priority combat.
The final straw was fighting a monster that keeps going underground in a zone with lots of monsters that also keep going under ground. If that main monster got me once the whole zone just piled on me. In a faster paced game its not so annoying because you can get away but the way MH works it just wasn't fun.
If the cat thing gives you enough breathing room I might actually enjoy the game more.
I read on the net that you can transfer, but that was talking about on PSP when the game first came out. Not sure if it works fine on Vita. I imagine it would.
Finally got a 32Gb card. 8Gb was not enough and i was constantly deleting things to get new things on.
Admittedly, i haven't played my Vita for a long time since i'm not that interested in what's currently releasing on Vita. But i'm ready for Velocity Ultra and Tearaway, which are the games i'm most looking forward to. I'm also very interested in the various indie games that are going to be released in the next couple of months (like Thomas was alone).

Today I saw this video of Grand Knights History (PSP, same team as Dragon's Crown, Odine Sphere, Muramasa,...) and I was shocked by the graphics.
The US localization for the game was cancelled. That's a pity, really.

I sold my copy of VLR months ago so it'll be nice knwoing it's waiting for me whenever i want to revisit it
Yay! I would have already bought it but still have to play 999. Finally a game that I didn't buy and want is a PS+ freebie, not like all the other times I wasted money.
But now I feel bad for not supporting the EU publisher for such a niche game.
