(1) The discount wasn't too hefty on Stranger's Wrath, but a couple bucks is a couple bucks (10.99 instead of 14.99, I think).

As for the 3 PSP games listed?
They're all on sale right now. Don't miss them.

I'll be ecstatic if SCEA gets VLR for PS+ next month... Damn you SCEE people! If it doesn't happen I'll just keep on playing Persona 4 I guess.

Now I might toss in TWD into the list. T_T

and for me I would be perfectly fine if NA never got it... I would much prefer something like hot shots golf lol (well I think my dream vita game right now would be RO)

I already picked up VLR physically (thus why I don't want it) and unlike disgaea 3 there isn't any nice benefit for getting a digital copy on top of the physical copy as VLR is a game when I get to it I will just play through it, not randomly do a run through item world.

Still good for Vita, but seeing that SCE is going to publish Epic Mickey 2 I think they will get some big games on Vita (well maybe just 2 big budget games like last year)

Interested in Walking Dead for Vita. Hope to be appropriately priced.

sadly so far late ports on Vita are usually in full price.

What did I miss?

Drakan Order of the flame and Drakan: The Ancients' Gates HD for Vita.

I found this part really interesting:
As such, Mesa jumped into the numbers. For starters, a third of all Vita games sold are sold digitally through the PlayStation Network, an impressive number. “Our users are embracing the PlayStation Store on the device and finding it very easy to download and get their games on their device and start playing.”
Maybe digital sales really are more important than people would like to believe?

That doesnt surprise me. Digital content has been on the rise for a while. Its will slowly become the norm.

Personally Im a huge fan of digital. I only get retail when I see a really good offer or import.

it really depends what they mean by a third of all vita games. I mean if that is just taking in consideration the games that have both physical and digital releases that is a really high digital adoption rate. If that is a general sales count, then it's not all that impressive given how many digital only releases there are for the vita.

I mean it's quite possible to skew that number even more if you included the playstation plus games as vita games sold through the psn (ps+ is a psn service and they were sold for free through that). If those were included that a third would really not be impressive at all. This of course is why I both love and hate statistics, as with out nitty gritty details you can't be sure of what the numbers are saying :P

I'm in that percentage. I use mine at least 3 hours a day for gaming. I use it for Wake up Club, Youtube etc...

I would be 100% if I could be, but my maxed out 32GB card is telling me no.

I have no doubt sales would skyrocket if they introduced large, inexpensive storage. Biggest mistake of the system by far was proprietary storage media.

I have to say that FIFA13(my friend got it) look and run amazingly good, game is just beautiful with no jaggies and no drops and really solid controls, shame about the lack of the impact engine new physics..with a lil extra effort EA sport could've made a killer perfect port,oh well..maybe this year.

also Konami need to throw PES on Vita, and what they are working (Fox engine PES) and not just PES12/13 with roster update.

...Mesa promised that Sony’s “got some [games] I the works that I can’t talk about right now. There are games that [Sony] Worldwide Studios guys are building that are… going to be very interesting and innovative...

Thoughts on possibilites? GoW?

God of War and "interesting/innovative" don't really match ( just play Ascension) unless it's from a new studio or something,SSM stuck in PS2 era and can't do any new ideas it seems.

I think they will be new small weird games from SCE like Tearaway and Tokyo Jungle.

when I hear "going to be very interesting and innovative..." the last place my mind would go is GoW lol.

I am guessing it will be new IPs like the unfinished swan (not saying that is coming just something interesting like that)

edit: damn... toto said pretty much the same thing as me right before i did o.o; spooky.

That can really break a dew ways. That is really not very good if it is saying of all the games sold so far 33% have been digitally. That would mean that in a month like in the UK last month where only 36k software was sold only another 12k would be added to that. So of all the PSN games and new releases on the PSN in the UK they only sold a total of 12k in a month. That isn't very good.

I don't think that is the case, but that statement could be interpreted that way. I mean we have had PSM games sell a few thousand units in a month alone, and they have zero awareness. We also have heard of great success stories like Retro City Rampage and Stranger's Wrath. However, at the same time it is hard to say with certainty he means retail releases only. If that is the case, then yes that is a great figure. it is all kind of meaningless though until more developer puts out there how many units they sold digitally.

I just updated to the newest Hot Shots Golf update, installed my characters (I'm a DLC whore for HSG), and noticed that now the wind sounds like absolute shit. Anyone else noticing this?

one of my worst PSN purchases ever. i thought it would be similar to my Journey experience. it couldn't be farther from my actual experience

I actually haven't played it (looked boring so I skipped it lol), it was just the first thing to come to mind when I was thinking about what sony was trying to push as interesting an innovative recently.

Only thing God of War innovates in is making each successive game feel like nothing's changed except the graphics.

*bro fist*

really if SCE decide to throw God of War on Vita I hope it's not by SSM and not another tired rehash, but seeing how the GOW:A bombed in the UK I guess Sony will finally put the series to sleep or at least wil think to change it.

great minds think alike.

Yeah, I guess I just figured they would be calling any unannounce game "interesting and innovative"...it's better than telling the truth e.g. updated games with cool graphics but same old shizz.."

Does anyone know if there is a way to find the total amount I spent on PSN for the spend $50 promo? SEN doesn't give you the sale price from what I can see.

I know I should have been more conscious of my purchases, lol, but I was spending on those sales.

I thought there was a way to bring up transaction history...

Good into the store, expand the bottom right bubble and there'll be an option to view Transaction History. Set the period from February 26 to today.

So guys, what's on your to-buy list for the Vita this year?

Pretty much just Killzone out of currently announced stuff. I've been playing my Vita less and less as I slowly get through last year's stuff. Most of the games I have left are arcadey or something else non story focused like racing or sports games, not stuff I normally put a lot of time into.

I wouldn't even put it past me trading it in towards PS4 if gamestop offers something crazy like $150 credit for one.

I think my local Best Buy is giving up on Vita. It doesn't appear they've replenished their inventory of games in ages. This morning, all I saw were 6 or 7 $9.99 copies of Smart As, a few copies of Reality Fighters, one or two BLOPSD, and a single PSAS. Possibly a couple other games, but the shelves were nearly barren...

I'm sure somoene will be optimistic and say they're just selling out too fast to restock >_>

My store has them in 2 separate spots for some reason.
But they seem to have most games available.

What's weird is one of my Targets is flush with Vita games, but never has systems.
The display case is always packed with PSP-3000s though.

it's normal for traditionally console/PC gamers who got Vita, last year was empty as hell so It was normal you were playing Vita, this years there is some decent games and games worth playing, I'm also more on Steam than Vita nowdays.

There haven't been any retail releases recently, have there? I think failing to obtain even brand new games would be the most damning. I'm not sure if they're at that point yet.
