Getting somebody to learn Volley Shot I alone is torture. Has to bounce off the goalies hands (not a goal or a keep), the person with the ability has to be the closest to the net, and it only has a 30% chance to activate. (You can also volley shot a fumble, may be easier)

Once I won the story match I left Blitzball the heck alone.
Which is a shame because the concept of a sports game minigame sounds great.
I just wish it played more like...I dunno an EA Big game and less like...whatever it was.

This was my first jrpg growing up, borrowed it from my neighbor. Honestly, at the time I wasn't to keen on the idea of it, but because I loved sports, the Blitzball really drew me in and allowed me to give the rest of the game a chance. Cant wait to have portable version!

The first time I played the game I put a lot of hours into Blitzball. And I mean a lot. So many tournaments and leagues until I finally got all of Wakka's Overdrive's and his Crest.
It wasn't until later that i realised you can keep resetting the Blitzball stuff until you get the prize you want

To be honest I didn't mind that part so much. It reminded me of Valkyrie Profile. Problem is the vibe started and ended there

Anyone know if SE will fix the character animations during the ingame cutscenes? I always felt they ran kinda fast and abrupt.

You can do the exact opposite of what you are expecting and the story is actually better for it.
This is the best ending.
Not sure how you come to that conclusion - of course not. However, to expect SE to do much outside of some (nice) texture bumps is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Eh, it could have been way more tasteless. It amusing how they don't give you a full view of Vanille's crystal breasts in XIII but do in XIII-2.
