Its not a toto game unless you say hyperbolic things about it
e.g.
My toto-game is Need For Gameplay - the game looks just about OK, racing is meh but the overal structure and need to ride several billion kilometers to start a race is vomit inducingly terrible game design. If you buy this game you should kill yourself.
Now that would make it your Toto game.
really? i loved nfs. btw, you can choose to start race from the d-pad menu if you've raced/attempted it previously, so you have to drive across the map less and less. i understand that's not likely to happen as often as driving across the map, but i didn't mind it at all. being forced to drive across the map so much makes you discover more cars/secrets and gives you a better idea of how to navigate the city.
I loved it to. I was re-writing his post as he claimed it was his toto game. The way he wrote it wasn't accurate to that description.
uh, can't you start races by just selecting them from the d-pad menu? that's what I've been doing
How deep are the RPG elements in this game? How are the controls? I'm planning on purchasing it day one because Mutant Blobs was fantastic, but for reals, how hype should I be for this? Like 2D Castlevania psyched?
Wasn't Guacamelee supposed to be vaporware?
RPG elements? Stats were always pretty superfluous to Castlevania. How deep are the RPG elements in this game? How are the controls? I'm planning on purchasing it day one because Mutant Blobs was fantastic, but for reals, how hype should I be for this? Like 2D Castlevania psyched?

(Edit: Just added a few more games)
Sony has been rattling the indie klaxon recently, and has pledged a big indie push on PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PS Mobile. Heres some indie games heading to Vita that you might not be aware of yet.
Pockett sent us a tip this morning after it did some rather ace detective work on unannounced or lesser known indie games heading to PS Vita. The information stems from developer clips, age classifications and more.
First up is Table Mini Golf, an augmented reality golf game similar to current release Table Top Football. Raid Ant from Prank studio is said to be an RTS, while a new version of iOS game Draw Slasher: Dark Ninja vs Pirate Monkey Zombies is said to be on the way as well.
Housemarques Furmins is getting the PS Vita port treatment, as is Burn the Rope sequel Burn the Rope Worlds, and you can look forward to plenty of cultivating carnage in Farming Simulator 2013.
Quell Memento is said to be heading to PS Vita courtesy of Fallen Tree Games, and although it was originally planned as a PSP game, Arson & Plunder is now heading to PS Vita.
On to classifications now, and Halfbricks Fruit Ninja has been rated for PS Vita in Brazil, as well as Disneys Castle of Illusion and Capcom Arcade Cabinet.
Phew. Do you see anything there that you like, or do you want to see more than indie download games on PS Vita? Let us know below.
Am I being too much of an optimist to think that Warrior's Lair should be on the 2013 list?
Isnt there supposed to be a new ps plus game for vita out today?
Farming simulator?!
Anyone going to be doing a Terraria livestream today?

Sully: A Very Serious RPG

Platforms: PlayStation Mobile
Sully: A Very Serious RPG is a JRPG-style game made by some plucky Americans trying to bring back the “lighthearted romp” to an increasingly serious genre. GameJam Winner:
Hermit Crab in Space
Developed by: Golden Ruby Games
Hermit Crab in Space pits one lost crab against a hostile galaxy, forcing the player to fight their way home in an ever changing, improvised ship scavenged from the refuse around them. Using the salvaged parts of his enemies’ spacecrafts, the player slowly builds his ship for protection. Reinforce your ship with shields, cannons, power tiles, ramming tiles, and more–and discover new powers and strategies by combining them in different ways. You’ll have to think on your feet, though: any part of your own ship can be blown off too, leaving you to pilot a fraction of your once mighty ship until you can rebuild your ship like a space phoenix rising from the ashes. Hermit Crab in Space brings together the dogfights of Star Fox with the creativity, construction and infinite possibility of Minecraft.
GameJam Semi-Finalists:
Crystallon
Developed by: Team Dozen Eyes
Crystallon is a touch-controlled match-3 game where players are challenged to create isometric cubes out of floating pieces. Pieces have different qualities: Color, pattern, animation, and sound. In order to successfully create a group, the three pieces must be all the same or all different for each quality. Pieces also have a fixed orientation: Left, Right and Top. You can only use one of each orientation per matched set. When pieces are successfully combined, they create cubes. Cubes may also be combined together into sets of three for extra points. You can advance to the next level only when there are no remaining possible sets in the current level.
Crumble
Developed by: Team Snakesss
Crumble is a highly conceptual puzzle adventure inspired by classic arcade games like Helicopter and Doodle Jump. Players guide an avatar, a block-like cell, which changes shape as it brushes against walls and obstacles. In one gameplay mode, the end goal is to match the block’s shape to a receiving pad at the end, which requires simultaneous attention to moving through the level and awareness of shape. In a second gameplay mode, users navigate through adventure levels, using the block’s falling rubble to grow shooting flowers in order to break through walls and hopefully, beat the level. If the player’s core touches an obstacle, the player loses control of their core for a few seconds, and the game restarts from the title screen.
Don’t Wake the Bear
Developed by: Back Pedal Games
Don’t Wake the Bear is a multiplayer game reminiscent of “hot potato” that only requires one PlayStation Vita to play. Be the last camper standing by strategically teasing or soothing a sleeping bear, but whatever you do… Don’t Wake the Bear! Players take turns adding items to the cave they are trapped in, some of which soothe the bear, like the tranquilizer dart, while others agitate him, like a death metal station on the radio. One wrong move, the bear can wake up, and that player will be eliminated. Players must also handle the PS Vita carefully during a pass as both players are vulnerable to attack.
All these indie games are making me regret settling for a 16GB card.
...What is this? PSN or PSmobile game?
...What is this? PSN or PSmobile game?
Apparently it's this game, Sully: A Very Serious RPG! The blog has nice shots. On my radar.Umm...feel free to tell us more.
Definitely getting this if the humour is as abundant in the game as it is in the trailer, I haven't even played an RPG in years. The art looks fantastic, almost too good for PSM.
No airships will be flown...but sky-trains are okay![]()
Sully: A Very Serious RPG for PSM
Okay, well, that game is definitely on my radar now. Just sucks it's stuck behind PSM so not a lot of people will play it.
This part concerns me that the PSM version may be dumbed down, but excites me if that is indicative of things to come on the platform.
I see that Takao's still posting things without any context... sigh...

another good start would be for sony to add a PSM game to ps+ every month... it would give decent exposure to the PSM just like it gave some decent exposure to the minis back in the early days of PS+Yea, hopefully by then they better integrate PSM into the main PSN store. I will never understand why Minis were in the main store but higher quality PSM is not.
I'm sure the iOS version would cost the same as the Vita version if you wanted to play online for a few hours.
I don't know why but I bought MGS 1 for vita! I am still not sure why i did it! But I did! Nostalgia got the better of me. and this brought my total to 50.2 thereby in a twisted way giving me mgs for free.
I'm sure the iOS version would cost the same as the Vita version if you wanted to play online for a few hours.
Crippled roster, three button fighting and paying for match tokens vs the real deal. Simple choice.
