I Don't think nobody could confirm that at the moment, but I expect to be so. If not some kind of benefit on the PS4 enviroment ( Gaikai etc...) but That's just my guess.

The content will likely not carry through at first, but your subscription certainly will. What exactly they will offer day 1 on the system is anyone's guess, however.

Sony haven't said anything, but I see no reason why they wouldn't make Plus a PS4 service as well. Cloud storage is one perk that could be made available day 1, and Gaikai streaming for legacy games is also a likely Plus offer. I imagine in time they'll add free PS4 games as well. Sony have made sure to keep their Plus subscribers happy up to this point and I can't imagine they'll turn them into unhappy customers come their new console launch.

Technology has nothing to do with it, it's just a service. I'd say it's fairly certain Plus will be a big part of PS4 and that subscriptions will carry over. If anything they'll probably tier the service so that there's higher tiers for more stuff.

As has been said, buyer beware. There's no way of knowing at this point. They have mentioned in rumors it will have a different name. Whether PSPlus will continue as in for PS3 and Vita and the "new" service will be PS4 or they'll rebrand it all and keep it together hasn't been announced yet. I don't think it will 'carry over' in the sense that if it is a separate service PSPlus members will be able to transfer to it or anything like that. To me, if it's all one service for all the Sony devices you're all good. If it's separate, who knows. You might get a free month or something? Again, all conjecture.

Never really got into bioshock even tho I tried, played the first 3 hours of the first one but just didn't feel it. Since bioshock infinite was up as a game trial on plus and had nothing better to do decided to play it and it got me hooked, mainly due to the amazing art direction, plus the gameplay is serviceable, love the hook mechanic and the crows attack.

That said, would it be ok for me to skip the 2 first to games, or should I force and play the other two? will I be missing references or does infinite stand on its own given that its a prequel?

For some reason, PS+ games always come in genre bursts. During the big E3 burst, there was multiple "large city / sandbox games" (Just Cause 2, Saints Row 2, to a lesser extent Infamous 2). Over 2012, we got many fighting games, and in 2013 we've already gotten 2 cover-based shooters.
