Yep, right after 18 months have passed.
I think Atlus will get Persona 5 out relatively fast. Especially since it's likely to be a 2014 release after PS4 is out; I don't think they want people waiting too long.

But the 3DS is already region locked.
If there's no sign of an Europe release date announcement by summer, then it looks like I will be importing a US 3DS.
I'm not even going to bother with a EU 3DS. Region lock be damned.

HOPEFULLY we'll get a timely smt4 release on 3ds, or atlus will have to realize that UNLIKELY as it may seems their us sales figures where us gamer+ non us (eu, aus) gamers..
Let them feel the hurt on 2-3 products and then i guess we'll start seeing again either region free or timely release accordingly..

That's what I'm suspecting as well. This is a mainline game but nowadays Persona is basically what SMT is all about, give or take.
Also I am in Europe and will cry sour tears for the late release of this game.

Video Games Plus, linked from the SMT4 site's preorder page, says that "This product will be in stock on 16 July 2013" and does indeed list the price as 49.99.

I'll definitely be on the lookout for a preorder deal but paying full price for an Atlus game doesn't bother me nearly as much because I know I'll get my money's worth regardless.

I, for one, am disappointed by this announcement.
And I've never, ever, felt this way before... but... FUCK. I have too much shit to play right now on the 3DS and publishers are just piling it on. Gaddamn. This is an AWESOME problem to have. But damn. I was hoping for fall. We still have Soul Hackers to come yet, geez!
