He's only responsible for the scenario concept and pre-existing demon designs for SMTIV. If I had to guess, I would say the actual scenario and world setting in SMTIV is probably written by Yamai and Isogai.

Correct. Combat is first person with sprites (similar to Strange Journey) but navigation in the world is third person.

I am actually pretty proud of that, to be honest. I doubt this is the case at places like gamefaqs lol....

But Magus, what if I like Persona for the whole package and I dont see why people emphasis the dating aspects of modern Persona so much. BTW it should by obvious that my favorite is the Persona 2 Duology.

It'd be fine. Or with Soul Hackers that comes out on the 16th. But you can find the other games for cheap and they're great too so be sure to check them out.

They are definitely a higher resolution than Strange Journey, but they seem to have similar animations. They're all from the same Kaneko / New People art, so the designs will be familiar.
