The fact that WWE spokespeople are still trotting out that tired old "Cena makes so much more money than the other guys" (that's because you sabotage and bury them) and "Cena is a great humanitarian and Make-A-Wish supporter" (that's wonderful, give him time off so he can do that shit and stop monopolizing your programming) excuses should be all of the evidence one needs to know there's no chance in hell of Cena turning heel... or even turning "face that trolls smarks with reckless abandon" like Net_Wrecker and I advocate... any time soon.
This is simply the self-fulfilling prophecy that Vince and company have put themselves in by pushing one guy to the moon to the point where they are utterly and hopelessly dependent on him. Hell, their shareholders would probably revolt if they dared to do something (ANYTHING) different than the status quo. Or at least that's what they've convinced themselves.

I can absolutely see Fandango losing. That actually seems more likely than a guy getting a WM debut match and a strong push. Kind of like when it made all the sense in the world for Ziggler to go over Jericho at Summerfest, yet he didn't and then lost the next night just for fun.
It seems very in line with WWE to have him lose at WM and win in a rematch the next night in 3 minutes.

Fandango looses and it causes a downward spiral which takes him back to Johnny Curtis....only instead he gets flashbacks of Fandango every time he gets hit in the head.
I distinctly remember jumping back into WWE full-time following The Rock's surprise return in February 2011, and then a mere one month later, emailing a buddy and describing how badly that needs to happen. I hadn't watched in a solid three years, and immediately it was recognizable the bare minimum that needed to happen for him to not be a total fucking putz.
