Yup, I don't understand this. There can only be one winner. Vote for who you want to see made.
The second vote process is going to be for all the marbles. Will be very interesting given that everyone will have the knowledge of the top picks from before. Better metagame, if you will.

I think Molly, Brain Drain, Dahlia, and Stanley definitely aren't making.
Umbrella, Aeon, and Scythana probably aren't going to make it, but if they did I wouldn't be surprised.
I knocked out Feng because I think she's the least popular between her, Eliza, and Annie, but it was a tough call.
I think the top five of my list are set, but the bottom three could easily be any of the others.
I wish I could see the breakdown of votes so I could make more educated guesses. Yo Peter, shoot me an NDA

She'll be fine. She still has Japan, constant exposure via boss battles and some American fans. That is more than 80% of the picks could ever wish for. Venus, Feng and Molly are the ones who are not in a good position if you ask me.

Nice palettes - I'm kinda surprissed there's May Lee (hell yeah) and Dong Hwan ones, but no plain Kim Kaphwan one. I could totally imagine him trying to reform her and dressing her up like him, like he did with Chang and Choi.
Some of the Peacock/Marie fanart baffles me, most of it would make more sense if they were depicted before the incident that lead to their current forms (that means Patricia with actual arms) - and if/when a canon story mode gets implemented, I expect there to be a flashback to that, regardless of a playable Marie or lack thereof.

I... actually can't remember who I voted for. I know I at least voted for Minette and Beowulf, but I can't remember the third. I know Venus is safe for this round, so I'd like to think I voted for Molly.
That said, none of you care what other people are voting for (if they aren't your characters, that is), unless there's funny artwork involved.
Unfortunately, most of Minette's funny artwork is NSFW. So have some adorable artwork.

As much as I like Marie as a character, I think I prefer her more as the titular boss Skullgirl than her being playable and having her powers nerfed. She'll still be in the game, after all, she's not going anywhere.
Most of the fanart exists BECAUSE of that lack of information. The Story mode gave up a bit, and fans are scrambling to fill in the rest. Naturally, it starts getting a little OOC sometimes...
