Yeah, glad she was specifically chosen. I really like her design and gameplay concept, would've been somewhat lost if she and Big Band were part of the voting list.

Call me a spoilsport if you will, but I wouldn't have voted Squigly - somebody had to say it, and I know I mean it... I don't mind her being there, and maybe playing as her will be fun, but the aesthetics or gameplay concepts as they stand don't quite appeal to me yet, maybe it'll change when she's released and I can give her a try.

I'm voting Beowulf, but Savage Reign worked entirely like this.

I'm not altogether familiar with fighting game concepts or archetypes, so forgive me if I'm being presumptuous, but I think Panzerfaust's two-stage punch mechanic is pretty unique as far as fighter characters go. I haven't seen anything like it in the fighting games I'm familiar with, at least.

The concept's actually been around with the way Squall's basic attacks work in Final Fantasy VIII, in the very least - different genre, but I'm kinda surprised he wasn't mentioned as an inspiration. Oddly in Dissidia that was only present as an automatic feature of his EX mode, iirc.

Guys, do any of you have experience with Touhou? I see Utsuho from Touhou listed in character references for Annie and I didn't really get what was going on with her.

Is she Japan's Phoenix? That looks like Japan's Phoenix. I want less of Platinum and More of this to go with my Sol Guts dish pls.

She's a slow, heavy hitting type that doesn't handle pressure well. Despite being the kind of character I'd never usually touch, I actually enjoyed playing as her a lot because explosions are fun.

I think I'm probably done with palettes since I have exams for the next month. I had a Mario palette for Umbrella that /sgg/ requested and I never posted here, along with a Spongebob and Scooby Doo set. Here's everything (it's kinda big).

EDIT: I should probably explain some of the colour choices. Mario is using a wooden hammer. Luigi is using his mansion vacuum. Princess Peach is using her Super Princess Peach umbrella. Molly doubles as the mystery machine.
