I'd hate that movie though.
It was a combination of things but it wasn't due to the organization of the tourney. Stuff like my poor performance, the stick modder almost giving my stick away to some random guy and it seemed like a lot of people (or the loudest ones) from the toronto scene were very obnoxious and off putting.

she hulk only needs a double jump, super does force bounce (so she can do it after a full combo), vanilla slide and mashable A.

The changes thus far are fairly conservative although Wolverine being able chain hypers is not the problem, it's the damage on it that needs a definite nerf. DHC from Fatal Claw into Ice Storm does insane damage already so being not able to link Fatal Claw wouldn't be significant.

Those She Hulk buffs aren't enough. Ghost Rider buffs are good but not enough.
100% agreed on those Storm buffs. Her specials are garbage, she is supposed to be a zoning/runaway character but she can't zone for shit because her specials are slow as shit.

FGC-GAF the movie would be pretty boring. It's hard to create any sort of emotion when it's all folks writing essays from their computer desks at home.
Side note: y'all should check out Pop-GAF's movie. Shit had my sides hurting watching it late at night with Pop-GAF and GAF-Hop. I think Beef was there too.
Those Vergil changes are dumb and don't even do anything. Also no way in hell Helmbreak should be punishable on block.
Vergil's only Nerfs should be:
-More recovery on Rapid Slash on block so that no matter where he is in DT or any level X-factor it is always punishable unless he DHCs into swords. Having Rapid Slash be +frames in DT X-factor is stupid.
-Reduced Durability on Sword Super.

-1 means it's a free throw. Which considering how strong throws are in this game is stupid. Why should a move that only causes hard KD be punishable on block? Helm Break is like THE most balanced thing about Vergil. Just cause scrubs get hit by it doesn't mean it's bad.
RT is an obvious fix please. It is under the assumption GLITCHES will be fixed.
X-factor is part of the problem but unless your solution is removing speed boost from X-factor for Vergil which would pretty much make him useless as an X-factor character.
You want to BALANCE, the game not nerf a character into the ground.
Magus should be banned from Marvel patch talk forever. Speedshot is one of the best projectiles in the game and hits crouching characters plus the Hunter arrow has a good hit box as well. Agree on the normal chaining stuff.
I think the only real Hawkeye changes necessary are tweaks to his Gimlet not randomly missing and having a bit more hit stun so that you don't get punished for hitting with it at close range.

Just give helm breaker a small pushback so that he can't get thrown. Wesker and Doom have -1 launchers and don't get punish on grounded block.
Player mistake shouldn't be a factor in balance. Also its stupid that a character can loop super after super. The only reason why its ok for sentinel is because its sentinel which holds him back. Take it away, give him better mobility and some chip damage on normals then he'll be tons better.

Hard Drive loops are very meter inefficient. Every character in the game who doesn't have a level 3 hyper can chain level 1 hypers together, and Sentinel should not be an exception.
Preferably, banned from all forms of commentary and discussion.
Hardrive should be buffed not nerfed. It randomly drops out characters in loops.
Reason why Sentinel has Harddrive loops is because he has no lvl3. I guess FGTV is just very anti looping hyper.
Hawkeye doing more damage or having better options up close would make him a Taskmaster with superior zoning options aka he would be too good. It's why Morrigan and Joe do low damage in combos... the brunt of their damage comes from making you block stuff. This is where Magus is letting his love for the character get in the way of objective character breakdown. You have problem with rushdown? Pick Haggar assist then continue to zone. Hawkeye has some of the most favorable match ups in the game and loses badly to 3-4 characters at the most.

And Doom's footdive is + like 20 on block(Dash canceled obviously). WTF is your point? It's ok for Doom's Footdive to be +20 on block and give him full combos but it's not ok for Vergil to get a Hard Knock Down, with a possible incredibly scaled follow up with assists. That needs to be punishable? OK. Nice logic.

I'm not talking about doom. I'm talking about vergil. If I was talking about doom I would be talking about nerfing footdive as well. Talking about one character doesn't mean I ignore everybody else.
But I guess when you're being compared to scytheavatar I should expect that kind of logic.
Foot Dive is dumb as well and needs to be nerfed. You will not find anyone contesting this. Although I only want a hitbox nerf on that.
Only thing I would change on Helm Breaker is that you are only allowed to special cancel it into a teleport. And of course he shouldn't clip you with his trenchcoat but that is covered under general changes for the character.

All you need to fix marvel is set damage to low by default, everyone starts without meter and add x-factor burst. Done.

The whole idea of balance is to take out brain dead scrub effective things which limit the depth of the game and force people to put in more effort, so that they have a better sense of achievement. That had been the theme they took for the balance changes of UMvC3 and will be what they will take for a new MvC3 version.
Sentinel is fine as he is currently, people stop using him only because they would rather use Doom and his hidden missiles. If you nerf Doom enough I guarantee you that many will come back to using drones. He already has far more mobility than he deserves to have as a big body character, just look at Hulk and Haggar.
Ok lets agree that vanilla Doom was fair minus the missiles not disappearing when hit. But don't nerf him beyond that. I know Gaf doesn't like him, and I know he is on everyone's team, but I love the way his combos/moveset/projectiles are designed. He is too fun.
