3SO's netcode isn't bad, it's the match making. GGPO is awful in bad connections, I'd honestly rather just have slowdown.

Which is what makes GGPO the complete opposite of awful. There'd be no problem if they actually let you set the delay so you could experience the slowdown you are used to. The patch for Skullgirls actually pushed the delay settings from 8 to 15 so you can deal with high pings your way and you can set it before a match starts like you would on the PC program.

Sometimes I was totally caught off guard by how much slowdown one can experience. Fighting the Japanese sometimes led to slowdown with the delay cranked to eight in the Vampire Room. Only sometimes..

It's actually growing on me a bit. I need to confront reality and accept this is likely the only interesting, playable Superman game I'm going to see for another decade.

I'm guessing its the command grab after a knockdown...first frame forces you to stand up which is command grab-able but you can only back dash or super out of it....if what art is saying is correct.

Once she knocks you down her command grab (which normally only grabs standing opponents) will grab you even if you try to duck under it or jump over it. You have to either backdash, properly time a reveral move or super. In the corner you can't backdash so you basically have to do an unsafe tactic to get out of it.
