He was shot and taken into custody. Had an explosive device on his chest which detonated after he was taken into custody. 2nd suspect is still loose, they believe they have him in the perimeter they set up and will continue house to house search in daylight. All my info is coming from what I have heard on scanner, been listening to it for hours now.

You want scary coincidence? I posted this earlier but here is a photo of Suspect #2 at the time he left his bomb. Note that it contains the youngest victim but also a young college-aged woman right beside him. Also note the woman's socks.


The same woman also appears in the clearest photograph taken of Suspect #2 before tonight's craziness, as she runs down the street. Meaning, she was in front of the bomb, laughing with her friends, before it exploded.

I knew she was in both pics, but didn't know he was in the second clear picture...

I know how compelling it is to turn a hostile and disordered world into a hostile and ordered one, and to reject the possibility that two random guys could cause this much chaos, but it is a possibility.

At this point, there is no strong reason or evidence to believe they have military training, or came from overseas, or are some part of a terrorist sleeper cell (or work for the government, if you're that brand of crazy).

Until we get information that says otherwise, people are just going to have to come to terms with the fact the these things can happen in the world, without coordination by some shadowy power behind the scenes, be it foreign or domestic.
