hes only a kid that fcuking sad

Don't forget the surrounded house with blood leading to it. Could be dead already

Was that actually real? I havent seen it on the news, or mentioned on the scanner (but there are other channels not streamed). Just that twitter post someone left in this thread

The odds on comprehensive immigration reform just got a lot longer...More shit these assholes fucked up.

So Rasputin was shot multiple times, run over by a car twice -- once by police, once by his brother -- blew himself up and then was taken to the hospital where he died if you put all the news reports together
Said that they "could not even count" the gunshot wounds. Well, if he was gonna die, I hope it was excruciating.

Holy Shit! What did I wake up to. I'm going to need to find a synopsis.

Here:

For those waking up here is the summary of what happened in Boston overnight. Attempted to rob 7-11, they killed an MIT police officer, hijacked a car, stole a police vehicle, threw explosives out of window during chase, got into firefights in neighborhood, one of them died from being shot to death by the cops and a bomb vest going off(suspect 1), and the other is hiding and there's supposedly bombs planted all over the place(suspect 2) .

And yes, they are the Boston Marathon bombers.

I'm also hearing on the news that the younger brother escaped by stealing a car and running over his brother.

So when the one dude ran his brother over, the police chased him and he got out of the car and ran? That's the bit I'm confused about. Where is the vehicle now?

Its easier to hide yourself than an entire vehicle.

Not what went on, but it actually is wiser to have ditched it if he thought he was safe from view and escape on foot.

Its usually when a perp does get a vehicle where they screw up and usually get caught or killed.

Thanks Solo/MT.

Wow, what a crazy event to wake up into.

These have got to be the dumbest terrorists ever. First, they get all caught on video before they planted the bombs. Second, they don't even change their appearance (dye hair, shave head, change the way they dress). Third, they don't flee the scene ASAP but hang around and actually rob a 7-11 (knowing how tight security was I'm Boston). Then they carry more bombs strapped to the chest (you know, just in case they get into a firefight with the police). It seems that, as much planning that must've gone into making these plans possible, they didn't plan much for the aftermath of what they knew it was to be a statehood manhunt. Dumb!

Some extremist on the web or something probably got into their heads and the truth is those guys don't give a shit about quality of the people they recruit. they just want willing bodies.

Yes these are the marathon bombers

Can someone put this in the OP?

Just because it's a great video and our new friends may miss it, this was possibly the shootout that took out or lead to the death of Suspect #1 (black hat): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cqo1Ad6spkY
CNN took hours to get on this story, proceeded to do no good reporting on it, and now they are going to spend all day with their "breaking news" on unverified stories
Forgot to even mention the shameful performance of CNN.

They couldn't tune into the same internet streams we were? FOX News seemed to be at least attempting that.

Dude posted this on twitter, he's been sitting there couple minutes before those bullets hit, lucky!

not to make light of the horrible-ness of this happening (this is some guy's wall in their home!) but how incredible would it have been if the bullet went through the actual proper date

Just curious but by the fuck would the marathon bomber try anything again? Considering they weren't really pinned as suspects couldn't they have gotten away with it? They'd have to be stupid or suidical.

Is a city-wide warrant legal in any way shape or form? How do you suspend unwarranted search and seizure for an entire city? Warrant for 400k people's homes?

Cops don't need a warrant to enter if they have probable cause.

In this case, terrorist dudes running around with explosives and guns blowing up shit and killing people... is probably sufficient to search any house the cops think they're hiding in.

Said that they "could not even count" the gunshot wounds. Well, if he was gonna die, I hope it was excruciating.

Keep in mind, not only was this guy a terrorist, but he was also a cop killer. I'm sure every officer who could get a shot in did so with pleasure.

If he really did run over his brother and he knows he did it, I fear that he's already killed himself out of guilt. That may have been the only person in the world he gave a shit about.

On suspect #2 running over suspect #1-

It was reported that #1 threw an improvised smoke grenade at the police baracade, left his cover and proceeded towards the cops firing (sounds like a las stand). While this happened his brother jumped in the SUV turned around and plowed through the police barade, all this happened under heavy smoke so he probably didn't see him or might even not know he ran him over.

Probable cause? And for what it's worth, I don't think they are entering every home without consent, they're likely knocking on doors and asking residents if they're okay. If the door is wide open or something else is off, they probably conduct a search.

Does anyone reckon the second suspect will be caught alive?

Last I heard he still had explosives on him, and in the last firefight suspect 1 did too and it was hit by a round and exploded on him... so it's not looking good for suspect 2. Though I suspect they will be willing do what it takes to get him alive to extract information.

Just read on Bloomberg that the legless guy from all of the graphic photos on Monday is the one who helped the FBI ID the suspects, he watched the guy drop the bag and jet...Jesus.
