Escape Goat is fantastic. Great puzzles and amazing soundtrack. Definitely one of the best games I played last year.

I always felt Humble Bundle was stomping a bit on Indiegamestand to begin with. But yeah I would have been disappointed if Indie Gala didn't copy it, I mean they even have their own version of steamgifts...

Heads up: Groupees Greenlight bundle purchases now have a Steam key for La-Mulana.
Thank you Lord British. I went there to get it and also noticed three games on "Be Mine Anniversary" now have Steam keys (I don't know if they are new games added alter, new games released on Steam or if I just missed them the first time around).
Anyway, La-Mulana, Air Buccaneers, Dungeons: Dark Lord and Galactic Arms Race weren't registered on my Steam account, and they are now.
And I'll actually play La-Mulana!

Seriously, why would EA/Bioware/Anyone with enough money want to associate themselves with Indie Gala? Maybe they tried to contact first the Humble Bundle and Indie Royale guys but they declined? Are they THAT desperate to attract users to Origin?

I know, we're all very angry at the Mass Effect 2 deal.
Anyway, if anybody else wants to buy the bundle, keep in mind that I already bought it on the first week, so whenever the Happy Hour is on, I'll probably get 4 copies of the gift if I buy one.

I have not been a real big fan of indiebundle.org, but their new The Hellish Dungeons Bundle tickles my roguelike fancy.

To be fair, THQ was in dire straits at the time, so it was more a huge publisher being downgraded to being an indie before they collapsed. The only thing dire about EA's situation is Origin.
THQ were bordering death, and the humble guys never made it out to be an indie bundle.
I know the gala guys can't help it so much with "indie" in their name, but still. At least they could have called it something different from the "Indie Gala Mass Effect Bundle"
Interesting enough. I share the roguelike love so went ahead and picked it up, thanks.
Sadly, the only game that I liked enough is Claustrophobia... If any single other game looked good enough, I'd buy it. Since that didn't happen....

Guess EA didn't get the memo about devaluing IPs.
I'm not angry at this or anything, as ME2 is a really good game (though not on the same level as the first one), but calling this indie is a joke.

EDIT: But doesn't want to run on my machine... damn.
EDIT: Okay, my audio set up was causing it. Runs well now. If other people have the same problem with the game crashing on start up, try changing your audio playback device. Changing it back again after the game is running results in the game working fine.
