As opposed to social media's reckless "journalism." I know people like to make the point that CNN is professional and social media is not, but both reach millions of people at any given time. People follow what others have to say on social media and spread that information without any corroboration. CNN may have announced false arrests (based on three sources) and been late to the game with some information, but social media essentially jumped the gun time and time again and was proven wrong time and time again including accusing people of murder based on skim visual evidence without any accountability.
Social media isn't branding itself as a professional source of news.

Must have been frightening...

I understand what you're saying but CNN is supposed to have journalistic integrity unlike social media.

So what happens if this kid didn't shoot the MIT cop, this kid was indeed brainwashed and misled by his brother and was scared shitless the last 18 hours? I don't think this kid will get the death penalty like some are hoping or expecting. Probably life in prison, but what do I know.. There is a lot to this story we don't know but so far...

From all accounts he seemed like a normal, well adjusted kid going to college. Some of his tweets would lead me to believe he's pretty far from being any kind of extremist. Now think of Monday? His brother actually tried to be disguised with the sunglasses and hat actually front facing. This kid went out in the middle of the marathon with his hate backwards and eyes wide open. Now we can kinda see there is a possibility he just straight up gave up and had no suicidal explosives strapped to himself like his brother. I'm not trying to be an Internet detective or what have you. I just think there's a lot more to this particular brother than what we've seen at face value.

It's all very interesting...I hope we get answers :/

I was so surprised that this ended in his capture. Wife and I were on the edge of our seats for that whole time that they were at the house with the boat, watching it live on Boston local Fox25. A nice ending. We were expecting to see/ hear an explosion with the suspect dead, and were both shocked to hear that he was in custody.

I really do think his brother dragged him into this.

what is his twitter?

Did we find out what he got that huge gash in the side of his chest from?

The Older brother did have explosives on him. It would appear he was devoted to the cause enough that he was doing his last stand. Threw a smoke grenade than charged police probably hoping to take them with him but they gunned him down and whatever device he had did minimal damage.

Younger Brother then freaked out and fled the scene which in the process led to him going over his gunned down brother.

Why run? Turn your brother in. Don't be stupid and follow in his footsteps. That's what I would do. Hell I had that much sense at 19, probably long before that even.

Glad this phase of the ordeal is over with. Also glad that with the extent of the manhunt and the net cast to catch this younger brother that nobody in Watertown got caught in any sort of crossfire. If those two were really throwing pressure cooker bombs out of a car it seems like a small miracle that nobody else died since the unfortunate shooting of Sean Collier at MIT.

I really wonder what the fuck is going on with the FBI after hearing they had interviewed the older brother last year, but that is for another discussion entirely.

Anybody from or living in the Middlesex area of the state that is interested in helping people with some of the longer term recovery issues should check this out: http://stoneham.patch.com/articles/how-to-help-stoneham-s-boston-marathon-bombing-victims

Im sorry there is no justification of his actions.

That cut above Suspect 1's ribcage looks kinda randy and somewhat large to have been done by a doctor or something come to think of it.

It could have been a high calibur bullet graze. Also looks like a bullet wound below the gash.

No evil can ever actually exist, it's all perpetuated by big brother to control you.

I don't even understand the reasoning. Why would one suspect dying and one getting away be evidence that the whole thing is a sham? My guess is that, whatever the outcome had been, this guy would've made the exact same post. "They killed both? This is so staged..." "Both got away? This is so staged..." "It's nighttime in Boston? This is so staged..."

Because when it comes to conspiracies anything that happens fits, you just have to "think about it" and "look at the evidence."

I can't imagine the conflicting of emotions that the people who are treating him must be having. They surely must want him to not save his life, and yet keeping him alive is the most valuable thing to do.
