Thanks.

Ordered both.

The layton games are trilogies, right?
Yeah, the Layton series is made of two different trilogies.
The first trilogy goes: Curious Village -> Pandora's Box -> The Lost Future.
Then the second trilogy (which is a prequel to Curious Village) goes: Spectre's Call -> Miracle Mask (The 3DS one) -> Azran Legacies (Out at the end of the year).

That means I'll need to get my hand on the other two games or read up on their plot somewhere.

Yeah, I was just worried if DQ9 has Dsi enhanced features. For instance, Pokemon Black/White had Dsi enhanced features and as a result it would not work on another region's Dsi/3DS.
Pokemon Black/White is an odd one. The US and EU releases are actually region free despite being DSi enhanced (I remember vooks testing this back around launch to little fanfare). It is odd as the Japanese version is region locked.

Does Amazon.fr have insane shipping costs like the UK counterpart to other countries with their own Amazon branch?

Wait, what? I'm not in the UK, but shipping with Amazon UK is always free for me if I place an order of over 20 pounds. That should be the case for most European countries, I think.

Yeah, but not for Austria, because we are part of Amazon.de.. I have to pay 5 pounds shipping costs for 1 game, when I buy 4 it is like 8 pounds, but most of the time I only want 1! I hate that, because I can never jump on the cheap stuff on Amazon.co.uk!

They are even worse than amazon.co.uk.
Delivery is free for delivery to France, Monaco, Belgium, Luxembourg for orders from 15EUR upwards and delivery to Switzerland from 20EUR upwards. Everyone else seems to have to pay in any case. And it's even more expensive than the screw-you amazon-uk postage.

Is retail stock of Fire Emblem healthy enough to wait on a price drop, or should I jump on the first good deal? Don't own a 3DS yet, but don't want another Dragon Quest V situation on my hands.

There seems to be a decent amount of stock. I doubt this game will end up as rare as previous Fire Emblems, it's getting a far bigger push from Nintendo.

You might want to read the OP, some are already mentioned in there

There's also an Amazon specific price tracker, but I don't recall the name right now. Dunno if it scans all 5 Amazons though.

Anyone know a cheap copy of Defiance PC going? Boxed or Digital....

You are bit late, as bothe GAME and Amazon had it for £19.99 a few days ago but it is back up to £24.99 now. I think Green Man Gaming had a download code for about £19.50 a few days ago too... but the code for that expired.

Base is cheapest now @ £22.99 I beleive.

Should drop sub-£20 soon again though.

Anyone know where i can find a DSi for cheap? (The Netherlands)

My old Nintendo DS (phat) broke and i want to play all my DS games.

Zavvi has the all black 3DS XL monster hunter bundle for £165 if anyone is interested. Game has the next best price at £180.

Shame it costs more on TheHut with the current "BIG100" code they have for £10 off. Remember to look for any 10% codes in your inbox.

G'day Austria GAF! How is life down under?

That made me think of this

Does anyone know if Zavvi ships 3DS XL outside of Great Britain? According to a forum discussion I enganged in there were people outside the UK that had bought 3DS XLs from Zavvi, but according to Zavvi's website they will not ship hardware outside the UK.

Will my Animal Crossing 3DS XL pre-order get canceled? :-( I live in Sweden.

If it is be cancelled, it will be because they fail to make any/enough profit off your order.

I have some weird problem, when a game is nowhere to be find, I usually find (sometimes even a brand new) on graingergames. What I noticed though, the regions are all over the place. It isn't a problem with single offline games, but it is with dlc and online. What my actual question is: is there any way to find out what region a game is from, before actually buying it and opening?
