Yaoi is fucking horrible. 9/10 times the drawing ends up turning me off instead of making me want to fap. They are stick-thin and look like aliens. Bara is less horrible but still is horrible. The men on Bara are typically a bit on the fat/large scale BUT not the large, rugby player type that I like. More like large on the sumo player side. I can't fap to that.

On topic, OP not ALL yaoi is like that. What you see there is just a shitty artist. Sometimes shitty artists have good stories (See Junjou Romantica) and other times shitty artists have both shitty art and shitty stories (like one of the ones you listed that i have actually read. it was turrible)

I'm sure shoujo and shounen have their fair share of shit art. See One Piece (Sorry OP brahs, I don't really like the art >.< )

Yaoi is smuttier and shounen ai is tamer and generally focuses more on romance, though shounen ai encompasses yaoi iirc.
