Chris is basically the only character I know how to play on my team lol
 
So at what point did Chris G become "Folds under pressure" to "MvC 3 god"? He still seems to get flustered, but no one seemed to ever bring it up until this past match.

I'm certainly happy for it just because the exposure of people as nuts helps to more optimally help along my "who to pay attention to" filters.

It would be crazy if Chris G was banned from EVO. He probably the best fighting game player that can play multiple games at high level.

Probably. But it's still a dumb move. And it doesn't make the word itself any less of a homophobic slur.

I don't think Peter hates gay people. Chris probably doesn't either. But it's still a fuckup. Especially considering he shot that word at the guy who runs EVO.

Well, Chris G isn't unbreakable, but he is pretty resilient most of the time. Much like Wong, he's a losers bracket monster. These guys know how to turn salt into success.

He's still an MvC3 God. But people do bring up him being salty all the time and how he acts after he loses. Señor Taxi just imbued the entire Marvel community with a glint of hope. We get that glint of hope often but people lose it when Chris G begins dominating again. Hopefully this will motivate people even more.

See a year ago no one I thought would of said that. He seemed to always always break under pressure. But seems something just suddenly happened, and that's not that case anymore.

Yea this is just standard ChrisG stuff. He blamed the pools set up for his loss at FR against Angelic, now he's blaming PS3 lag. Expect him to turn it up tomorrow.
 
He never got over being a diva when he loses. Unless you count winning a lot as a solution to that. Now that he has been dominating the past few months I don't think he'll ever get over that.

It won't happen. The only guy to ever actually get banned from Evo that I know of was Dark prince.

Losing the best Marvel player (and Chris G still has the title until he loses a few more majors, Justin didn't win every major in Marvel 2), would hurt the credibility of Evo. I wouldn't consider a major that banned a top player a real major unless there's a real serious reason. (integrity issue or violence threat)

I'll say this- EVO champs do get Super Salty when no-names beat them.

I thought he didn't blame the set up at FR at all. He said he wasn't playing right and wasn't warmed up and just got bodied straight up when he was interviewed about it.

But yeah, I agree.

He's not a bad player, so it's better to not risk a loss. But at the same time all this has done is fucked with Chris G's ego and NOT helped him grow the fuck up about losing

honestly, I'm playing Devil's Advocate here (I mostly agree with you) but considering that most people seem to dislike watching Chris play (they like watching Chris LOSE) would eliminating him from the brackets really be all that bad from a spectator standpoint?

Would fighting game tournaments become less hype if Chris G weren't in them?
