Are you the same person online and in real life?

Am I the only one who behaves in a completely different way when they're online?

The whole freedom of speech + anonymity = disaster thing is pretty accurate, though... lol

I'm a cooler online even though I act the same way both places, my body is holding me back.

I have lots of quirks and I have trouble speaking fluidly.

Nope, not at all. I don't see the point. I'd rather come on here and be an asshole.

Close but of course I'm more "safe" in real life. Perfectly comfortable with talking about whacking it here on NeoGAF and at Easter dinner.

Kind of. On neogaf I'm a lot more inclined to comment on things pertaining to video games or politics. In real life, its more the usual kind of banter of stories about what you did last week, etc.

Sure, we're the same person, but most people behave differently in different social situations.
Just as you might not behave the same at the work place, at home, and when visiting your nan, you probably won't say the same things in real life as you say online.

I better question might be, do you behave the same online as you do in your most comfortable situations IRL?

I do, my friends used to make jokes about my online persona not being different from me in real life. I'm an asshole everywhere.

Yep. I don't see the need to act differently or purposefully like a complete twat. Online or offline, people are people.

That being said, what ever gives you enjoyment, go for it.
