Does someone know how long stars last before they expire?
Has anyone got stars from Wii U VC purchases?
I upgraded my Super Mario World and that is listed under registered games but with no stars. Also bought Kirby's Adventure but that isn't listed at all.
Same thing with SMW for me. Shows up in registered games but no stars.
Not surprised. They were broke. Didn't take any stars, or get added to your treasures.Just a note the Mario Kart trophies have been taken off the catalogue, UK at least.
Same thing happened to mineAwesome, I only had to wait ten days for my SNES controller!

Fuck this shit. :/
they seem to be sent from Nintendo UK directly, and their 'grey plastic bag' packaging offers no protection![]()

Same thing happened to mineIt was only packaged in a grey plastic bag.
I contacted Nintendo UK about it and they said:-
"we are unable to replace the item for a damaged box. If the item itself is damaged or faulty them please let us know and we will look into the matter further."
Not very pleased, especially considering you can only get this item from the Stars Catalogue.
I think this may be to do with Stars Catalogue items now being sent from the UK. Previously all my items were sent from Nintendo Germany, and they would often be sent in a box sealed with security tape - but now they seem to be sent from Nintendo UK directly, and their 'grey plastic bag' packaging offers no protection![]()
I'm in the UK, but my stuff usually comes from Germany. UK branch is handling them now?
It seems to be a relatively recent change, it was mentioned in this thread a couple of months ago:-I only get items from Nintendo Germany, but I live in Belgium so hey. Or is this a really recent change?
The annoying thing is they didnt even use a jiffy bag, it was literally just a thin grey self-seal plastic mailing bag :/That's disappointing to hear. Considering it's directly from Nintendo, I expected a bit better quality control. When shipping items like that, it should always be cardboard on cardboard. Jiffy bags offer NO protection at all, I wouldn't even ship plastic cases in those things unless I covered the item in bubble wrap.

Might just be the UK Stars Catalogue, and even then I guess it might not apply to every item (Probably depends on stock/inventory levels in Germany and UK)
Mario kart trophies are back and are taking stars now, so if you want them, you probably need to put an order in again.

Nintendo must be aware that this is abit of a 'collectors item', so it really should be packaged accordingly.

Anyone from the UK can help me with forwarding Club Nintendo items? The person that used to help me can't do it anymore, and I got a bunch of stars than need to be spent. Thanks in advance.
Recently you have ordered a Mario Kart 7-cup in the Club Nintendo Stars Catalogue. Unfortunately, this order will not be fully implemented due to a technical malfunction.
The error has been corrected, but if you still want to receive this article you will be doing in the star catalog a new order.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you will continue to enjoy the Club Nintendo offers long!
Thank you for your support!
The Nintendo team
You should have gotten an email for the first order which didnt go through? Try sending that as proof?Man, I got pretty burned with Club Nintendo.
I had around 5400 stars, of which around 800 were to expire at the end of May. I saw the new Mario Kart cup and I decided to order that one, last week ago.
I got this email minutes ago (Google Translated):
Now I log in to my account to order it and I only have 4450 stars in my account. Technical malfunction indeed :/. They also said no stars were to expire by the end of April, so I'd be pretty pissed if the malfunction is that they did expire.
What do to now, I want my stars back, but I can't prove anything![]()
I got my SNES controller; it boggles the mind how they package it in just a plastic envelope, not even padded. Fortunately it got here in good shape.
I got a fire emblem code for my imported UK copy.
What should I do with it?
Anyone want a Club Nintendo code for Nintendoland? First reply gets pm

I would like this, if you still have it.
It acts as a classic controller without analogue sticks so plugs into a Wii remote. So its fine. In fact you can use it at the same time as the Gamepad and control the game using either (or IIRC, both). Is the SNES controller OK for Wii U ? (preparing for earthbound)
Just burned most my points on the two trophies.
Working in CeX is great, 99% of traded-in nintendo games still have their points intact and we're not obliged to leave them in the game.
Usually by the time I buy any Nintendo games from there, the points will have expired already. Recent games are too expensive in Cex. Don't envy your job either, the people that work at my nearest store are always running around like crazy in the back.
Most GameCube games IIRC didn't have an expiry date for the codes till the later released titles. I think the codes in the game are now valid for 2 years till you can't enter it.Odd, I even registered some Gamecube games last week. Not sure why yours might have expired. As for CeX It's not at all bad, weekdays are really relaxed, chat with customers and workmates about games and have a laugh. It's only weekends 11-3 that are really busy. Though iIdo work in a town store, not one in a city centre and that could make a lot of difference.

On the flip side, 99% of the Nintendo Games I've bought from CEX have Club Nintendo Points still with them. Makes for a really nice surprise. Pokémon Conquest, Rhythm Heaven, Pokémon Rumble Blast, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, Mario and Luigi Partners in Time. So many cheap points!
Do we still have a for sale thread does anybody know as i have aload of nintnedo points for sale wii u and 3ds mainly if anybody interested does UK pal games cover the whole of europe?
I'd be interested in a 3ds code valid for the 4x3 promo that's not Luigi or Castlevania, which I already have. Let me know.
Really? I had no idea and I so happens to have two FE:A codes.. I'll try it out.You can register the same game twice. I got Luigi for free after entering 2 MH and 1 FE code.

AFAIK the only way you can get two codes would be through digital download and buying the game through retail =/, but we shall see if the 2 Fire Emblem codes work for MicH...did it work?
never heard of this before. it used to be only 1 code per game.
