They'll come out swinging. I won't be surprised if they hold a separate event for the Vita and make their E3 presser focus solely on consoles.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is no Vita special event and it is barely mentioned in their E3 presser, just like last year

Such a clever way of personalizing your game machine. MS copied..Sony made HOme. I always felt that was the dumbest thing to NOT copy, so I'm hoping they do an avatar system of there own for PS4, and heck even give props to Ninty for coming out with it. (WILL NEVER HAPPEN '-)

I disagree. Miis, Home and Xbox avatars are all really terrible and obnoxious. A simple image icon is just fine.

I doubt it. They'll be a price drop and new game announcements.
If they do continue with it, they'll probably throw it into Gaikai rather than keep it as an app.

Oh yes, that was what NeoGaf was like pretty much the whole duration of the Playstation Meeting event for me. I gave up about halfway through and just paid full attention to the live stream.

Streaming Home would make great sense. Easier updates, less downloading for players, ability to access on other devices.. on and on. I just wonder if they are going to put that much effort into Home this time around.
Man I hope so. Mark called it a platformer, but what they've shown so far looks like a Lego Star Wars or Skylanders brawling game. In concept (big budget next gen 3D platformer) it was the most exciting thing for me at the PS4 meeting. I really hope to see it live up to the platformer title. Or just announce a new HD Jumping Flash and I'll be happy!
I wish it was a true 3D platformer. We need more of those. Tough competition for 3D platformers (which do not exist) this year from 3D Mario.

it's so disingenuous to reduce to home to a mii copy, shit basic avatars in a blank white room vs. highly customizable, highly detailed avatars in a fully flesh out virtual world
to make home the mii verse would be like a step back.....of generation proportions, but alas Nintendo invented the whole of the know universe and everything in it and all Sony ever does is copy

Personally, I think E3 doesn't cut it as most of them were terrible. The Playstation Meeting for PS4 reveal was personally all I could ask for. It was to the point, great presentation and left just enough mystery to keep you guessing and wanting more.
I am absolutely hyped by combining the Meeting, talk from Gamers on the internet and future titles to be excited for PS4. All these things COMBINE to make a great experience.
The problem with E3 is always the talk about investors, talking about different platforms e.t.c. I could care less for the VITA at this point since it's going to be my handheld PS4 (you need to have one) to enjoy the streaming via Gakai (or PSP style). Just focus on the gamers and PS4, it will instantly destroy everything.

Good people are working long and hard on these features and lots of money is invested in them.

This will be on several sites including the PS blog and probably on the PS3 itself via home or something else.
It's not all decided yet but Spike/GT should have a stream as well as several other sites. Don't worry, there will be plenty of venues to get the conference in uninterrupted.

they will stream on gamespot, ign, gametrailers etc.
Nothing official yet but they won't be hard to come by. Sony will do one through ustream, ps home, gametrailers etc. Don't worry, there'll be streams available.

You think Home is taking away from other projects? I don't think you know how popular Home really is. It makes Sony lots of money. The money from Home is probably funding a lot of different projects. Sony is a big company they have multiple teams for different projects.
