So you do have to rank everyone.... I thought you could leave it blank for anyone you don't care about.
Man, the new voting system really is slick. Feels good, organizing by preference.
...I put Black Dahlia as my primary, though. I spent a few minutes agonizing over it, given my opinion of Annie, but there's no harm in lending her a vote, at least for this round. I'm just antsier about Dahlia's chances than I am about Annie, though. At least in surviving the initial cull.
I promise, though, after today, it'll be Annie as number one. I just can't not rep Black Dahlia, at least once, in good conscience.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to vote for zoning characters but ...
Regina's design has always impressed me and her colors really just "pop" in a way that makes her stand out among the other DLC characters to me. Having gameplay influences from Hibiki, Strider, and mechanics from Jojo certainly don't hurt her chances to me. She's my number 1.
That's an interesting choice, not many like her. Or rather, most are indifferent about her, or at least that's the impression I get.
The order of the characters is random, so anything you don't care about will statistically be blank.

Once you drag and drop, all the numbers get filled in automatically. Does that make a difference?
In most of these kinds of votes you're allowed to not vote for candidates you don't care about, but I guess it does help in the case of tie-breakers (which are more likely under this system).
No, it just numbers whatever you've got there at that time when you start dragging. The order is still maintained / random.
Wait, so if we don't manually enter the character's rank it will be considered blank? If so then I think my choices might get a little screwed up, as some of the characters I wanted just happened to fall into the right number on that list.
Also, when will the results be posted?

Put in my votes. I took this opportunity to mix things up a bit. Scythana and Minette have grown on me over time so they got a nice boost close to top ten and I gave Beatrix a high spot. Now it's just a matter of patience.

I actually bumped Beowulf from 14 to 4 on my list, largely because of Beowulf voters who trended towards Annie once he got knocked out.

Mines went like this. I tried to rank everyone as best I could but I'm pretty much indifferent from 16 on down. The downtime after the first vote really gave me some time to think about all the characters and as a result I'm quite satisfied with my top 15. If anyone of them gets in then I'll be extremely happy.

It's our electoral process so - well, I think it's pretty rad
I put Beatrix as my number 1. I was going to go with Dahlia as my number 1, but in the end I thought that the hypothetical Beatrix that's described in the character descriptions could end up being more fun for me.
I went with a zoning top three of:
Beatrix
B. Dahlia
Ileum
The rest of my top 10 was compromised of Molly, Panzerfaust, Isaac, Brain Drain, Adam, Regina, and Beowulf.

So, did anyone have a change of heart regarding some characters between when the vote originally started and right now?
One character I warmed up to was Leduc. When the vote originally started he was bottom 10 on my list if not bottom 5, but now I ranked him 7. Another character was Roxie who's now at 8, when originally I ranked her 15.

I'm a bit lost too. I'm assuming we keep eliminating the last character, and redistribute those votes until we're left with 20 or 10 characters.
Definitely Adam. He went from bottom 3 to top 10 in my head.

That seems to be it. Just keep eliminating that bottom.
The order of your picks will largely cease to matter by rank... I don't know on average. But it doesn't really matter what your bottom tier is unless you're spectacularly bad at going with the zeitgeist

Scythana's range and gameplay interest me the most, I figure I'd give Roxie a bigger boost just in case, Beowulf's still high, Panzerfaust is still near the top as a bastion of SNK influences, followed by Alex's stated canon plot rtio in order of preference and perceived potential for new info, toosed in annie too since Eliza made it and they might have an interesting dynamic, then Isaac for interesting gameplay, and Ms Victoria out of curiosity for what fighting game stuff she'd actually reference, since her description felt vague.
There are a few others I don't dislike, but for now I'm boosting these, let's see what we get to pick from next time.
