The game needs more wall sticks, rushing punches, stagewide dragon kicks and Psylocke shenanigans in general. You can never have too much rushdown/mixups if it's done right, I think. It's all good so long as one character doesn't become the best at what they do.
Yeah, it's a nasty side effect of the voting, ha. I'd love to hear of a character like Feng, by herself. I'd probably be really hype to see how everything she has works out... but you put 29 others aganist her, with so much diversity, and you're forced to start making some hard choices.
And man, I love watching Makoto work the ground in those vids you linked, haha. Crushing jumps to the ground, landing that blazing fast command grab + satisfying normal throws, and even finding use out of command normal moves that, for many characters, would just be nearly forgotten moves in a moveset.
Jam also gives me that "overwhelming force, when used right" style feeling, which is great. That first-round DESTROY proved that beautifully, ha. I think I've always liked Jam as a character, more than I like GG itself. Not that I even play her much... but she's such an interesting design.
Ultimately, though I think Roxie or Scythana would give me more of that "overwhelming force" feeling than Feng, though it'd be cool to be proven wrong, if she were to win.
News flash there are FOUR fish people.
Ottomo is a fishman.
He's a very small dagonian wearing power armor.
But Ottomo himself is pretty much the robot! The little guy on the inside (Tom) barely even counts! XD
But it's a point well taken. Ottomo might be one of the most unique designs in that reguard; 2 totally unlike-anything-else creatures, combined into 1 character choice.
Haha, I did! She was just number 7!
Fishmen are a wide, diverse range of people, some good, some bad! They'd also allow some crazy color palette ideas and mixes, with so many modifiable parts, and the natural effect of not being the normal peach / brown set or skincolors. Though I'd not be opposed to a Hsien-Ko colored Feng...
