What are the differences between difficulties in chaterine(other than money bonus)?
I remember the demo being not easy at all, but now i'm playing it on easy and i'm on the day 6 or 7 with no great difficulties and 80+ continues.

I have to say that i'm not loving it as i was expecting, i don't like main characters that much(i like more Vincent's friends and the other sheep) and the gameplay part is not that great(but more enjoyable than i expected).

Easy is the best setting if you just want to experience the story without too much difficulty. Normal will start to get challenging once you get near the end.
 
I have ran into a very odd issue, all of my purchases upon installing a new HDD on my PS3 are showing up except for Virtua Fighter 5: FS. I can find the receipt in my purchase history online, even used the exact receipt ID when contacting Sony customer support so they would know I had in fact paid for it. I was told it would not be an issue after having two people look into it, today I received an email simply stating sorry we can't do anything for you. The fuck Sony?

edit: all of the alternate costumes available when purchasing the premium edition on release also still show up in my purchase history, only the base game itself is missing. Yes I deactivated the PS3 before installing a new HDD and reactivated upon successful installation.

Have you resubbed to Plus recently? It is in the IGC (or was), so could have been shoved back up your purchase list when you resubbed.

Yeah, like Celegus says, you move faster in the puzzle sections the more you drink. There's three stages, which require a full glass each I think to fill. The game does tell you I believe on the second trip to the bar.

When you browse the store (through PS3 and PC), does it show up as owned, or having a price attached? Which version of the game are you looking at in the store? (I can't check at work, but it's possible the premium version is separately listed. This is true of Borderlands bundle, e.g., the one where I had the same problem you are having.)

Edit: Also, NA or EU or...?

The game that gets announced on Monday is made available the following Tuesday. The current trend is that they announce all the games for that month on the first Monday of that month i.e. today. They have no specific time as to when they update, whenever they have nothing else to do I guess.

NA so the only thing I am able to view via PC is my original purchase receipt, showing the price of the game and that I purchased the premium bundle. If I browse through the PS3 the costumes show up but not the base game, it is listed as if it had never been purchased, price attached (only allows me to re-purchase the game at it's current price.) Also worth nothing that up until last week It had always showed in my previously purchased list no problems.

The complete edition is the one I have a transaction receipt for but unfortunately they both still show as needing to be purchased again.

I have the same "issue" on Sleeping Dogs, in the store its there to be purchased again, but in my download list I can just trigger the download for free.

This sounds *just like* what Sony did with my Ultimate Edition Borderlands (original, not sequel). It took a good bit of pushing to get them to re-instate it. They offered me a BD game (maybe two? can't recall) when they couldn't re-instate the license initially.

I elevated it by contacting mochuuu here on GAF, who is a PSN rep. Someone who worked for him contacted me on my mobile phone and they reset my PSN login credentials so they could log in as me. They confirmed from within my account that the problem existed. Then they credited me $29.99 and purchased the game *again* on my behalf. Then they reset my password again (with the email going to my email address, so I could access it) and I was back to normal after I set up my password as I wanted.

I understand mistakes happen, but it still makes me boil to think I had to go through that. What if I hadn't been on GAF to find someone who could help? Did it matter to someone at Sony that my tag is a prominent video game website? And, I happen to think it's a bit insulting to be offered BD games with the implication that I should flip them and use the cash to buy a completely different game digitally. (All the titles were first-party Sony games. Many of which I already owned!)

Unfortunately I am being forced to repurchase whether I look the game up via the online store (PC) or via download list on the PS3. It's ridiculous. With Sony's complete refusal to do anything about it when their is a transaction receipt on their very own servers makes me second guess digital content purchases in the future. It seems silly but it's money wasted.

Sounds like a huge pain but I will attempt to contact him/her as well and see what can be done.

Four. And they're pretty good, although I enjoy others more.

Funhouse
Gorgar
Black Knight
Taxi
Firepower
 
Hopefully they put the Pinball Arcade table packs on sale to coincide. I really hate their DLC structure that forces you into paying for a basic, boring-ass 60's/70's table in order to get the rad 80's/90's table you actually want.
 
Bought Sleeping Dogs last month, don't really regret it since I used it to get the extra $10 dollars. Good for everyone else though!

Buuuut I think I'll buy something from the sale, not really interested on this weeks discounts. :/
 
Am I the only one finding some Catherine levels relatively hard even on easy?

Has put me off the game. Will play it again when I finish my exams but the game is so addicting that when I keep failing I just keep attempting it for hours and hours.

I've been fine with it. Seems to play fine from what I can tell. I've heard some tables run badly, however.

Correct. Vita version is fine except for latest Dr. Dude table and not being as graphically impressive as the PS3. (In my experience. I own all tables, but haven't played all of them, honestly.)

You should be aware that ON THE PS3 some players complain of flipper lag (press button on controller, there is a tiny delay before flipper on screen moves). I played for months before someone told me about it, and I still can't see it. I do, however, have two friends who have independently noticed it without me mentioning the issue ahead of time. This kills the game for some people, but (as I said) I play it just fine and haven't ever seen an issue.

I had noticed that the Vita version felt more responsive.
 
For those complaining about Catherine difficulty, i concur.

I finished it on Easy but it never actually felt like Easy to me. I can't imagine playing it on Normal. I guess i suck at puzzles.
