The problem I see with that is who is publishing the game on PC ? Is it L0, Autumn or Konami ? Where will the money go when somebody buys the game after the crowdfund ? If the game can run on a toaster of a laptop then yes it might be good for the game if people can just bring a laptop to a tournament and have an easy setup.

The Shark can build a bigger gun and an armor but still I get where you're coming from so fair enough !
 
Beowulf is way better if the Hurting is just an ordinary chair.

Listening to the soundtrack again. Paved with Good Intentions is soooooo good.

Are you referring specifically to Japan?

It seems strange that they wouldn't self-publish, given that their base is pretty much built in and is unlikely to stop supporting them. Is there anything like Steam in Japan?

Steam is in Japan but digital distribution in Japan is far behind acceptance compared with NA, and PC gaming is even more niche still.

I'm talking in SG2 or DLC for that title. They could have the legit VAs for #21 and #24 booked and at SC tomorrow, but it still wouldn't win Adam the second mystery slot.

Oh, just noticed "when he comes out". Still, adding 21 & 24 would be a dream. I know I would switch characters if they somehow got their voice actors to fill the role of the two egrets.

My favorites are the intro tune, "The Legend of the Skull Heart", and the credits tune, "In Just a Moment's Time", but it's great listening to "The Lives We Left Behind" followed by "The Lives We Tried to Reclaim".

Yup, the chair should be legendary, but because of its own merits, not because it's magic and shit.

Personally, I can somehow imagine Beowulf and The Hurting working like Litchi and her staff in BB even though she's not listed as one of his inspirations.

Yeah, but I don't think it will be as complex as litchi's staff and no staff stuff. I mean miss fortune is barely different with out her head. Probably just going to change up a few normals. Who knows I'd love to be wrong and have him be super complex.

This voting system is nice. I have something I was kind of curious about concerning the voting. When you eliminate the 10 characters tonight do you eliminate them one by one distributing the votes to the rest of the characters each time or the you just lob off the weakest ten like ripping off a band-aid™.

Man your new avatar throws me off every time. Also it would be cool if he had to separate movelists. I have a soft spot for those types of characters.

You run them off one by one, that's how instant runoff works - subsequent 'runoff' votes might affect rankings, after all

Well, of course I don't think it'd be as complex as Litchi. I'm mostly imagining stuff like all of his HPs + some command normals are different or at the very least have different properties. I don't really see it affecting his kick normals at all either.

Marvelous is publishing it on PC. It's why some folks are getting Half-Minute Hero. (which if you didn't get it- it's worth a few bucks, not a bad game at all)

I do see an issue developing for tournies where folks are split between a PC beta version and an official PS3 version, but the Melty comm runs their stuff on PC and it's not like most current-gen sticks don't work on PCs, so I don't think running a game on a laptop is a problem.
