Do we have a time estimate on how long the event is going to be? Talking about PS3, Vita, Powerpoint Charts, PSN, PS4 OS, PS4 first parties, PS4 third parties, and so on will usually take longer that the usual hour and thirty minutes.

I think ~2 hours like it was for PS3.

I hope they have another show for the Vita, PS3 stuff, 2 hours for 3 platforms seem a bt short especially when they have a new one to show.

They probably don;t have that much to talk about for the PS3, Beyond, TLoU, GT6 and a few others. Vita who fucking knows, then a glorious 98% used for the PS4.

Thats still an hour worth of talk tho. Beyond, TLoU, GT6, Puppeteer, Rain, Until Dawn, Tearway, Killzone Mercs+few Vita announcements.

I have a distinct feeling that Sony is going to actually wait until E3 to show all of their megaton announcements rather than blowing their load early.

There's been no indication of a Playstation Day or whatever like they normally have in April/May.

And with Microsoft getting the limelight to themselves during the latter part of May, it really does make sense for Sony to just go balls out at E3.

I'm actually wondering if we'll see a pre-E3 blowout for the PS4 games that have already been shown. Some of the insiders have said that Sony has been holding out on a lot, so I wonder if there will be space for those games during their conference. It might be best for them to just show them off before E3 and then focus on entirely new announcements during the conference.

Less than a month away, crazy.

Can't believe it either.

Yeah, I think that's certainly possible that we'll see more from DriveClub, InFamous, and Killzone before E3.

As long as they save the surprise announcements for E3, I'm good.

Isn't that what the Game Informer PS4 issue was for? I'm hoping they go over the OS/UI and show that they are taking PSN seriously.

What will be the first and last announcement of the press conference?

Open: The Last of Us gameplay or trailer then Naughty Dog's PS4 game.

Close: R* stuff

I'm mostly talking about online media like trailers, gameplay demos and new screenshots. They're confirmed to have a Judges' Day this year, so that could be when we see new media for those games.

Maybe they'll blow their PS3 games beforehand so they can spend more/most of the time with the PS4.

"The Last of Us" gameplay... on PS4. I think that's the reason why they postponed the game release to after E3, could be a cross-platform title.

I'm pumped to see Tretton crack jokes at his own expense again. He is so much more lively than many of other execs out for these press conferences.

The days are going by slowly... slow right now until the Microsoft reveal on the 21st and then it will slow to a crawl until the 10th.

Open with ps3 talk. "gamers are looking foward to the last of us which hits tores this week "play trailer" and thats not all we have for ps3 this year. Coming later in the year we have Beyond "plays trailer"

The right into a mix of vita and ps4 stuff.

I think they close with with Andrew House posing with a ps4 but I think the final game with ether be Destiny because I think Activision will push for it to go last or it will be The Last Guardian for early 2014 to send the crowd home happy. I dont think they end with a shocker. I got a gut feeling Sony doesnt have that one giant secret weapon waiting and when has Sony ever closed with a megaton?

So a potential exclusive mainline Final Fantasy isn't a big deal these days? Still is to me.

Aside from that I agree, they rely on their enormous first party output for exclusive titles, but I have no problem with that as I love most of the stuff those guys put out.

No, not really. Final Fantasy has been worn pretty thin by SE and it just doesn't have the same impact it used to. Plus PS4 would've gotten the game anyway so the only interesting bit is if it's locked down to PS4 exclusively and even then it's hardly a surprise considering the sales of the title already lean Playstation.

MS will probably end up having the wider appealing Western exclusives and Sony will have a few Japanese developer exclusives. Advantage Microsoft. Thankfully Sony first party makes up for it.

The desperation to turn Kaz Hirai into a meme when he hasn't presented at a Sony press conference in six years is beyond embarrassing. Give Mark Cerny some love.

Embarassing? lol Kaz, Iwata, Yoshida, Reggie, Miyamoto, etc. have been memes here for a while. If anything is cringe-worthy, it's some of the product coming from trying to do the same to Ballmer and Mattrick.

It's a big deal if the rumors turn out to be true.

Well, Kaz is definitely more charismatic than anything Microsoft has to offer, that's for sure.
