I didn't watch the movie it's based on but my interpretation is that Kaz and Cerny are out to destroy MS research but then they see Ballmer dancing and don't know what to think and abort the mission.

Or the secret sauce is not technology but Ballmer's moves.

What a load of shit. Despite the constant negativity from tech blogs, and Microsoft-haters, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 have made great strides with developers and their respective stores have grown faster than either iOS or Android.

A handful of devs that have complained about their specific circumstances due to Microsoft's strict policies on XBLA doesn't change the fact that Microsoft works more with developers (whether indie or big name publishers) than any of Sony, Nintendo, Google, or Apple.
