I would kill for a Crackdown Origins game. Something set in the world *just* as they were coming up with the genetics to be super powerful and awesome.

I really want to see what there OS and services are going to be like. As for game if I have a wish is that we get more rpg games this gen. I know shooters are big but a new and big! rpg ip by microsoft would be really cool. Fable being an mmo(rumors) makes so much sense. When i played Fable 3 it seemed to fit that genre the best so very curious with what they will do with that ip. Not a big racing fan but PGR looked so good that I would buy it instantly. Not Forza or any other sim just not for me. Not really started on Alan wake so can't really judge it yet. I just want to see some new ip.
Shame its only an hour. E3 will be amazing with so many game announcement from everyone.

I don't think we will see Perfect Dark 2 at this event or E3, but hopefully in the near future Rare takes another shot at it.
Maybe if they hire more people or someone assists them. I don't trust Rare as it is now with it.

Yea i wish but i think MS will stick with cod and some exclusive on it for their fps until Halo is ready in a few years.
Oh jeez! I haven't been to this thread in a while thinking it was not going anywhere, but Gaf never disappoints. I would have preferred this thread to only have more positive take on "Only on Xbox" meme (seeing as this is Xbox reveal thread) and leave the ironic/sarcastic take for the Sony E3 thread, but beggars can't be choosers.

Well they've also got Respawn's shooter and Black Tusk's shooter, and probably Gears still too. It will be very crowded in the shooter department.

Yea is is guaranteed that Tusk has a shooter? I wish it was something else,PD deserves to be their other shooter.I mean it can still fit since PD is pretty different compared to other fps.

It will be disappointing if all they show at the reveal is games to be released on other platforms and Halo. I would like them to show something exclusive to them, new ip, fresh ideas that show a clear step up from Xbox 360

I agree they need to branch out I think they have some amazing shooters on the console now we need RPGs and some action game hack and slash or a nice old school survival horror but coop
I think they know they need to do this and can't settle for the staple hits. Whilst there is obviously an audience for them even the most keen xbox fans are getting tired of just those.
I think XBLA has kept a lot of us happy tho. They'll continue to deliver there.

pretty sure they've been working on their own new ips, they'd be nuts to solely depend on halo/gears again I'm sure they want to make the next generation versions of those for whatever new thing they are creating.

I really think RPGs could have a bigger buyer market its just they are all sorta done the same. It need to be unique and sell xbox live or why do it? 1 vs 100 or something similar would be amazing also.

Halo wont be shown at all this year,4 just released. Next year you might see a reveal and then release the other fall in 2015.
You'll eat your words when they rerelease Halo 2 this year or something.
Might have mis-read me, I meant I want Kinect to be killer and for those two games to exist as Kinect games. I think they fit it perfectly.
Hope they don't, it weakens momentum for Halo. Best thing they can do IMO is go quiet on all things Halo (bar Halo Wars
) until E3 2014, reveal, then release September/Holiday 2015.

please folks, new IPs. Its a new generation. I would like to see what Ryse has become. There are a ton of medieval games, not that many action games in Rome.
can anyone else think of major games set in Rome? All I can think of it Rome: Total War

Well I would like a Gears 4, PGR5 I have to be honest but its a new generation, new ip needed to strengthen the portfolio alongside those series'.
Ryse is a good start although I hope you can play with the controller rather than Kinect, Black Tusk are making a new ip so that's encouraging, Rare fuck knows what's going on there.
They might go the Ryse/Crytek route again and get a usually third party developer to a create another new ip for them.
